first inning, two outs already. looking pretty sharp so far. I'm sure he is on a pitch count limit around 90 to 100 tonight, let's see if he can carry us beyond 5th

fastball at 88. he does manage to strike out laroche with it, but did throw a wild pitch when he tried to push it past 92. gives up a double to wilson ramos with two out. i like davey johnson but hope we crush his team tonight.
meanwhile, the pitch count is starting to grow a bit. flyball out to RF, current pitch count is at 28

greinke helps himself with a two out run scoring single!

i know i am going to look crazy posting alone in a thread that i made, but greinke's 2 seam just hit 91. he is quickly regaining his form and this is the best news for us in this so far a miserable early season. we still can come back and win this division with 3 top notch pitchers to lead our rotation.

zack is hitting 91 with regularity now, one out on top of 4th with a strike out, pitch count is at 43 and looking good so far. this is very promising.

**** me. adam laroche hits a solo homerun off of greinke. 2-1 dodgers and pitch count now sitting at 47 with still only 1 out in 4th

full count, two outs, runner on first. PC now at 65. hope donnie doesn't run greinke to the ground.

phew got out of the inning. PC at 66. don't push zack, don. give him another inning and let him get out of this with a chance to win, feel good about himself and a good rest for the next start. just one more inning......

greinke is now missing very high. seems like a pitcher who is losing strength a bit. two outs and PC at 77. **** he gave up a single. 78 now and he is getting tired. just one more out zack.

there it is. third out of the fifth, and 81 pitches. if donnie has any cerebral capacity left, this should be it for zack. good job at his return performance. he will have a chance to win tonight.

greinke is pulled after 83 pitches and 5 and 1/3. good job zack, and good decision, donnie.
