Wow.

Greinke scratched from his start tonight after losing 4 in a row.

Are you guys just focused on Clipper **** or what?
We're on the verge of a serious tumble.

man I went without an assistant all these time, taking one of my hygienists to work as an assistant which she is not fit for... seriously consolidating the schedule to a point of WTF... just hired one that qualifies while fitting my office today.... I have been putting away like 14 hours or more at work all these times while i was sporadically posting......

I don't mean to complain, just venting. did not have much time for posting. but yeah I am stoked about our two consecutive wins and last night's giant loss. hopefully the Padres pulls one more out of their hat tonight.
ehhhhh f it.

I get weird about the Dodgers when they're close to the Playoffs. Since I can't physically go to the games, I don't watch. They've let me down too many times, so I feel like watching them jinxes them.
So I check box scores after and read what you guys say. I'll be tuned in once the series begin. But until then, when they're doing well, I just wear my hat and act like nothing's happening.

if you haven't been watching lately, I say you need to reverse the jinx and start watching, Kilroy. we are getting killed while the magic number has been stuck at 2. WATCH GAMES AGAINST THE GNATS AND REVERSE THE JINX!!!!

this team has tricked away home field advantage and is doing it's best job to make us wait for a division title.

I'm thoroughly frustrated with this team.
Sorry man. I can't help but feel that way.

damn shame that I've gone from expecting the Mets in Chavez for Game 1 to just wanting my team to get in finally.

smfh.

Are we intentionally blowing games to start the series in Queens?

It would have it's advantages but sheesh….get this expensive ass team to 90 wins at least.

Later, Latos.

Don't forget Latos is the dude who made public remarks about Cincinnati's organization earlier this year while with the Marlins.

He is a loser and a cancer. IDC about having proven players. Too many times in baseball we've seen the team thats we behind the ears get the job done. I do care about having losers like that on my team. Cut bait with him and move on. I'm dead srs. **** Latos.

Sorry for the late reply. I've been away from the boards for a while trying to get stuff together. I was wary of Latos given his reputation, but gave Friedman the benefit of the doubt. I agree that going after retreads masked as "vets" is over-rated more often than not. Utley, even with his struggles offensively, is one of the exceptions. Glad to see the Dodgers cut bait on Latos. At least we didn't go after Papelbon.

Neddy wrote:BTW my post about Latos was a reply to MIke Hesirman and not to Ranma. thought I clarify.

No worries, Neddy. I read your comment as such. :D I'm going to see if I can catch up on all the threads for both the Clippers and Dodgers boards.

http://dodgersway.com/2015/10/05/dodgers-sought-andrelton-simmons-at-deadline/

Ready to focus on the playoffs but I'm very happy to know that our FO was initially interested in getting Andrelton Simmons from the Braves.

Gives me hope that we'll try to poach him or Adeiny Hechavarria from the Marlins at the winter meetings this year.
We're the Dodgers. We have money to blow. We deserve to have the bets defensive SS in baseball.

Not GeAndrelton Simmons

Post#415 » by Ranma » Wed Oct 7, 2015 12:06 am

I read something similar yesterday but could not find the source. Thanks, Quake. I don't mind missing out on Simmons, but--like you--am encouraged that we want really strong defense at the SS position. I'm happy with Seager in the lineup even at shortstop since he's solid there, but ideally, he'd be manning the hot corner at 3B with a defensive wizard to his left on the infield.
