Peace to Juan Uribe

Post#1 » by Quake Griffin » Wed May 27, 2015 3:45 am

I hated when we signed him in 2010 after he helped that team up north win. He, like many others, was a product of Ned reaching for old Giant players after Sabean had gotten the best out of them.

Oh well, after 2012 he did a reasonably good job staying healthy and his 3B was nearly impeccable.

Sucks to see him go as a clubhouse guy but onto the Hector Olivera era.
Yes? No? Maybe?

we got Eric Stults. that's all I care.

Kershaw
Greinke
Anderson
Bolsinger
Stults

and Brandon Beachy is just around the corner to replace whomever that may fail. I like it... for now.
ehhhhh f it.

Yeah, I was wondering what you guys thought of this one... Seems like a good haul for a slightly redundant player.

I definitely didn't want to see Withrow go but I guess the Braves didn't have incentive to do the deal since they aren't competing this year so we had to sweeten the pot.

Hector Olivera needs to pan out IMO. Juan's deal was perfect and gave us perfect flexibility with Olivera and Seager.

We do need another SP. Zach Lee call up? Trade?
