This postseason seemed on NBA levels of "fixing"

All being said, didn't expect to make the postseason this year. Made the nlcs.
We really can't complain too much.

Onto the next year

Urias will be a strong number 2 or 1b
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

just came back home after catching the last 3 innings of the game 1 at my Indians fans neighbor's house.

good for them. and what a pair of HRs by their catcher Roberto Perez. this is the type of magic we need next season.
Miller proves once again that we need a reliable middle reliever to go far.

2-1 with game 4 starter being Kluber... is this the year for the tribe? I would say if they win the game 4 in Wrigley, this is over.

and this is what we should have done, going with Kershaw for the game 5 when it was not an elimination situation. believe it if this series goes 7, Kluber will be the starter for that last game of the WS on back to back short rests. this is how we did it back in 65 behind Koufax and how we did it behind the Bulldog in 88.

wow Bryant saled that one way past Rizzo's head... thought when the Cubbies scored a run in the first, they were gonna lock this game down and tie it all up, but who comes through? a former dodger prospect Carlos Santana. for 2 seasons of freaking Casey Blake, we let this big boy build a decade long of dominant power hitter career with the tribe and here he is....

**** good for him. all I've got is a stupid bubblehead of Casey Blake at the office. :nonono:

ha Johnny Hirschbeck and Joe West looming in the background to ruin whichever the unlucky team and their fanbase into abyss in next few games. didn't Johnny already umpire? so it is the worst of all time coming up soon in Joe, lmao in some ways I am glad our dodgers weren't in THIS particular WS. here is hoping we make it in when Joe West/Angel Hernandez/CJ Buckner are all out of the way.

OMG an AL pitcher Corey Kluber i the one to hit that go ahead run home? wow gotta love this game. just have got to love this game. If the tribe wins this 2-1 and Kluber goes at least 5, this will be the first time in my memories an AL pitcher is the one to win the game and beat out that grounder for a hit to score the game winning hit.

not sure where you are Quake, but I am right here at 5:03 PM just before the first pitch. this is game 5. I say the tribe close this one in Wrigley of all places, breaking hearts of CubsNation and probably do not come back to WS for the rest of Lindor's career.

... and I must say, Chicagoans have a very different taste of music/singers as their national anthem singers sound and look more like mobsters than musicians to me.

Bauer maybe the starter but I expect Danny Salazar and the kitchen sink to join the party tonight. only pitchers from the tribe not available tonight will be Kluber and Tomlin. that's it.

the tribe is the team of destiny in 2016. what a great swing and a HR for Ramirez after that amazing foulball catch by Rizzo off of Ross.

Was out buying a couch for my apt and I was putting together a table for my apartment.

Still getting settled.
I moved here with nothing.

Watching now.

Cubs Spectating

Post#1097 » by Ranma » Mon Oct 31, 2016 3:11 am

Geez. The Cubs sure have a Joc-like habit of playing spectator out on the field. Rizzo makes a great diving catch at 1B only to witness Chapman staring at the play instead of covering the bag. Ironically, Rizzo was caught admiring a fly ball when he doubled off the ivy earlier in the game.

Lindor hit the long ball and get this over with. I don't wanna watch anymore baseball games after tonight. not until KBO's game 3 and not until Nov 18th when Aussie league starts. I am so through. end this right here
