what Dave Roberts is doing is basically formulate two separate 1 through 4 lineup cards and stagger them.
leadoff-highOBP/BA guy in the #2 hole-overall the best hitter in the 3 hole, then the power guy in the clean up.
Taylor - Seager - Turner - Bellinger, then repeat with
Forsythe - Pederson - Grandal - Puig.
Puig isn't hitting in the 8 hole in any classical sense. he is our second cleanup guy. in a more conventional lineup of the say, the 90s style of a lineup, he will probably be hitting in the 5th hole, a la Raul Mondesi role.
