Do the Dodgers play only 4 starting pitchers?

1. Derek Lowe
2. Randy Wolf
3. Jason Schmidt
4. Brad Penny
So theyre just gonna have 4 pitchers in their rotation?

Well, usually the 1st portion of the season it's 4 starter. Towards the second half of the season is where the 5th usually come into play.

he's not bad. But wouldn't be Billingsley be better as a starting pitcher instead? I heard some of the analysts say from last year that the dodger organization really sees a lot in him.

Yes, I do wish it was Billingsley, but Tomko is slated to start tomorrow and he's been throwing long BP sessions to get his arm revved up for a starting pitching role. It's on yahoo somewhere.

Hendrickson is trash.
That's tomko's spot. He had some early success with it last year as well, but kinda tailed off at the end.
