David Wells made his first start in 3 weeks last night for the Los Angelas Dodgers and got the win. Wells pitched 5 solid innings in his Los Angelas Dodgers debut, Dodgers won the finale game of the 3-game series.
This is what Wells said to the press before the game Sunday night:
"It felt weird out there but I've been doing this for a long time," Wells said. "It's a big game, gimme the ball."
Wells even dropped down an unexpected bunt and was rumbling down the first base line and beat it out! David Wright the third-baseman was playing pretty deep, not expectin wells to bunt and he could not make the play at first and Wells was safe. Later that inning he scored starting a 2 run inning for the Dodgers.
