Looks like the dodgers are wasting no time in targeting that elite player this team needs.
I would like to see any of these players on the Dodgers. I am not thrilled with A-rods salary but one cant overlook his production and the fact is I dont pay it and its not a cap-issue.
Wiretap
They need to jump on one of them though...

I'm not completely sold on Hunter. We need a big bat and I feel Tori won't fill that shoe *just like J.D. Drew*. He has a great glove but I'd hate to see Juan's weak arm in LF. Arod would be great but it seems like the McCheaps always get outbid when going up against Mareno.

Out of all 3 .. Hunter is 3rd on my list. A-rod, although I have my reserverations would probably be the guy that puts us over the top.I would also take a long look at Jones.

I agree Hunter is my least favorite on that list. But I have always been secretly wishing the we need to do everything possible to get A Rod in a Dodger uniform. I still think that is a pipe dream as I keep hearing he is the Angels to lose.
I don't like A Rod's salary demand but we desperately need that one superstar in his prime to balance out the Kids and veterans on the team.
If we get Hunter, where does that leave Ethier, Pierre and Kemp?? I am a little curious.

Hunter . . . not worth the money he will get
Jones . . . great outfielder, dropping offensive production, not worth the $20M hes rumored to be asking for
A-Rod . . . I really like this guy but $30M for any player is way to much. But hey, if the Dodgers sign him up Im with it cause they will gain more revenue via sponsors, sold-out home games, and advertizing will be outta this world with more people watching the Dodgers on TV
