The price just may be Kemp, LaRoche, and Kershaw. That is a pretty steep price but we really need some power at the 3rd base. The Angels are our main competition and they got some pitching prospect to offer. Now that they traded Orlando, they are desperate for power as well. This will come down to who wants Miguel Cabrera more and who is willing to pay the steeper price.

Would you guys do this deal?

Wow.. that's a tough one. Cabrera will more than likely be a top 5 player within years. The thing that worries me the most about the guy is his weight issue. I'm hearing that he is struggling to lose weight. I'm willing to part with Kemp and LaRoche but Kershaw makes it hard. It worries me letting a kid like Kershaw go considering the fact that Lowe and Penny will more than likely demand big money once they're FAs. The combo of Chad/Kershaw is something that was looking forward to for the last few years.
