1 move left: getting Santana for a NL dominant staff.
Johan
Penny
Scmidt
Lowe
Billingsly

For Minny it gets Johan out of the AL and now w Jones he won't veto. It's like he got Torii upgraded.

Offer up Broxton (Twins can then deal Nathan w Brox becoming Closer) and 3 "either/or" choices: Kemp OR Laroche, Elbert OR Kershaw, and midlevel like Dewitt OR Hu.

This LA keeps one of their top 2 prospects in each case.
Example: Kemp a smidge better prospect but MIN also needs a 3B desperately. Kershaw a bit higher ranked but Elbert closer to the bigs and still top40.

Do it Ned!

I don't think Ned will make this move. Of your choice I think Minnesota would take Broxton, Kemp, Kershaw, and Hu. Don't forget the Dodgers would also have to sign Johan to an extension somewhere in the 6 years $150 million range. Don't think management is thrilled about losing this package and still having to pay free agent money for one player.

I love that package as a Twins fan...Kemp, Kershaw and Hu is a perfect deal for the Twins...You could keep Broxton even...If Dodgers offer that then Johan is 100% going to you guys...Call your GM and tell him to offer that...
