Dodgers lose game 1, 9-3. It was opening day for Arizona and we had a weak Estaban Loaiza out there. Juan Pierre got another start, this time over Matt Kemp, and went 0-4. Pierre is now batting .067. I don't understand why they keep starting him. Also, the more I watch Andruw Jones the more I think he has no idea where the strike zone is. He swings at balls that are 2 feet off the plate.

Dodgers now 4-3.

Dodgers lose again, 10-5, and it wasn't that close. Once again the 1st inning kills the Dodgers as this time they give up 3. The offense is really struggling but it looks like Matt Kemp might be out of his slump with 3 hits. Maybe just maybe Andruw Jones get a hit instead of a K.

Dodgers now 4-4

Game #3 under way, Dodgers lead 3-2 in the 6th. Loney went deep and Jones gets a much needed day off. Kuroda in a jam right now...

Byrnes singles to left, dodgers losing 4-2. Chan Ho in for Kuroda. Andruw Jones in at center. Pierre out.

Dodgers get swept, 4-3. This was a real tough lose as the Dodgers had a couple of leads. Only two Dodgers are hitting over .300, Rafael Furcal and James Loney. Only 1 Dodger has multiple HR's, Jeff Kent (2). Not a formula for a winning team.

Dodgers now 4-5. Back home to face to Padres...
