Nice thread.

We need to get back on track. These games with our division rivals are very important ,even early in the season.
The Padres are throwing out some tough pitching with Jake and Young..... *sigh*
Cheers. — Mags

As one of the only Padre fans all of realgm, good luck to you guys in this series, it should be a good one.

Both teams are off to pedestrian starts so far this season, so both could really use a couple of wins here. The Penny/Peavy matchup should be great to watch (if only I could).

I expect some pretty low scoring games, not just because of the pitching, but also because the Padres don't score so well. :(

So much for the annual fast start that Brad Penny always gets off to. he is now 1-2, I don't believe the guy got his 2nd loss until July the past two years. I guess this is what happens when you run into Jake Peavy twice in 2 weeks. We seriously need to step it up and Andru jones is looking like another Juan Pierre signing.

Dodgers lose rubber game, 1-0. This season already looks like many others. On to face the Pirates, hopefully we can break out of this slump.

Dodgers now 5-7.
