I like a lot of the play calling today. Lots of actions happening on and off ball and they are flowing very well into each other. We are definitely taking a lot of inspiration from the Warriors.

I think we are doing a good job countering their movement plays as well on the offensive end. I worry about extended Love minutes when Draymond is out there (he does a good job forcing players to pick up Steph and Poole), but otherwise not many complaints thus far.

Y'know what... at least we are not Warriors fans. Went over their page just to see what they were saying about the game and they are trashing on all of their own players (the young guys, Poole, Looney, and Klay). We criticize our guys, but we are not calling them trash lol.

I'm not normally one to complain about foul shots, but JA only getting two fouls seems criminal. I will admit there was some questionable calls down the stretch going our way (they weren't clear either way imo), but there was some obvious misses as well (a la Klay "screen").

In reality, we played a tough match against the Champions even if they are not up to their standards thus far. Their zone defense in the 3rd brought them back and then their defense denying Mitchell and Garland in the 4th helped them stave off us running away.

I really liked how Mobley looked when we needed him to generate scoring in the 4th. Its basically the only "easy" stuff we could rely on getting because they were so preoccupied with the guards.

The Klay moving screen was BS, but Golden State has some ugliness to their beautiful game. They hit our guys in the face at least 5 times tonight? Wish that was a flagrant review like in the college game.

Allen has been getting beaten up all this road trip. A couple times he was flat out knocked down with no calls.

Garland's play has been an issue, though. Needs time to figure out how to contribute.

Gotta play the bench more. A few times, everyone out there was too tired to run a play on offense.

It’s been a pattern with short rotations, but it didn’t help Wade was out with a knee injury. This probably could have been a Lamar Stevens game where he got 8-12 minutes and took some minutes from Mobley, LeVert, and Mitchell.

My brother told me the Cavs haven't beat the Warriors in the regular season since Christmas day 2016, I looked it up and he was right, that's bonkers. Took it a step further when looking and haven't beat them in general since game 4 of the 2017 Finals. Quite the skid against those guys.

Bickerstaff has Lopez and Stevens at his disposal. You can make the officials find their whistles.

Wade got zero minutes last night. He's gotten one shot over the last two losses.

Garland has had two lousy shooting games. LeVert starting alongside Garland, Allen, and Mobley is unsustainable.

DG needs to find his shot and in a hurry. He's apparently dealing with a bunch of hopefully minor stuff including figuring out how to share, but we win if he just shoots like he's capable of.

Didn't even have to out-shoot Steph either.

In all honesty, I assume there are some growing pains with him coming back and I assume we will lose some points on the board while they figure out how to play with the roster. It’s a long season and I'd rather the losses be in November than in May.

Caris isn't the problem, Garland has clearly played worse and it isn't a spacing issue.

Our 4th quarter collapses have been mostly due to us not running any offense because everybody's gassed. Same thing happened last year.

Warriors' fan here and I totally agree with you in regards to our fans on our page. They are a bunch of spoiled fans who think they are the smartest guys in the room and dump on the players, FO and coaching staff. :nonono:

On to your team, I really like the roster your FO has put together and think you guys will be a real problem for teams this year and many to come!

Offense was being run. Warriors were just denying passes to Mitchell and Garland (both staggered minutes at the beginning of the fourth and when they did get the ball, they were doubling off the bigs/Okoro on PNR attempts.

JB then started running the offense through Mobley which helped us generate offense since the Warriors defenders were still denying our ballhandlers.

At the 3:36 mark in the 4th, Garland and Mitchell shared the court. Warriors opted to leave only the midrange open. Doing well, to get around screens and packing the paint on drives. This lead to four midranges misses in the last 3 minutes.

Thanks dude. Our team definitely takes inspiration from what your team’s offense has done for years. We’ve yet to iron out all the details, but with the addition of Mitchell we should be scary this year (and for a few years).

You guys are still the favorite to come out the West imo even with the rocky start. I think it’s going to depend on your young guys stepping up to be dependable role players (Moody, Kuminga, and Wiseman) in the playoffs.
