As much as the Cavs should win this game, jb coached this exact same roster last season outside of Tyson.

jb and Sidney Lowe know this roster's strengths and weaknesses. Gonna be difficult to exploit him.

I assume the Pistons 8 will be Cade and Ivey in the back court. Then Tobi, THJ, and Duren up front. jb seems to like Beasley off the bench plus obviously Holland. From there Stewart should be the 8th guy but he has been mixing in Fontecchio too.

Gonna be a tough game.

We swept them 4-0 last season but it was by 10 points or less.

Something encouraging about the Raptors game is our bench unit held the lead for the 8 minutes of garbage time.

So, the Pistons have played us tough even without whatever JBB may have in mind; but on the other hand, this isn't pre-season anymore and there should be some players on our side who won't sleep walk through this game - wanting to prove that moving on to Kenny was the right move.

I sure hope it's a 30 point blowout but if we lose, long as it's competitive I'll chalk it up to them having jb, Lowe, and Luke sitting on the front of their bench.

I just noticed they had former Cavs player and Cavs assistant coach Vitaly Potapenko on their staff too.

Glad announcers are noticing it, Dean Wade has had some crazy impactful defensive rebounds probably saving two points each time.

Also he’s currently 3/4 from downtown

Double digit win over our former coach? I'll take it. Starters not pounded into the ground, minute wise either.

Go Cavs!

Every one should be writing Dean Wade and Ty Jerome a thank you card for that game. Both played great defense and if you look at the box score, offense as well.

Mobley really cooled off from his incredible game one, but still showed signs that it wasn't a fluke.

JB hunted the Cunningham Garland match-up and it just kept on working. Kenny changed any Cunningham PNR involving Garland to a double to get it out of his hands and it really iced him out of the offense.

JB really does have those guys playing defense and physical. Only one more props to JB... he ran a play out of the TO that worked lol

Forget jb! Lol j.k... Kinda.

The fact he let 5 guys off the bench touch the court is surprising.

Just a sign he doesn't think his job is on the line.

It is so refreshing to see a real offense.

Atkinsons rotations are excellent imo. He’s doing a great job staggering the core 4. I’ve never been a Wade fan but he looks good in the starting unit. Having a 3 that can shoot and defend makes a huge difference

The defense looks solid too

I still don’t think this is a contending roster construction BUT it looks better than I thought it would so far (albeit against 2 bottom feeders)

Don't want to jinx ourselves against the Wizards, but yeah our first games are against probably bottom of the league teams so I am awaiting this next week. Knicks, Lakers, Magic, and Bucks x2. Not that we need to win each of these games, but I think we will get a better insight on how we fare against play-off teams.

Also, love the rotations. Very strict at least one small and one big pairing and then a rotation of our bench guys in each line-up. The Garland Allen line-up has been a bit iffier than the Mitchell Mobley line-up so far, but I am not counting it out yet

Maybe it's just me and I'm not seeing the nuances but I don't see these drastic changes everyone's talking about with the offense the team looks more confident and getting into their sets quicker and obviously that was a point of emphasis but I see the same pick and roll spamming It's Just Happening way quicker which is a good thing and that's a much needed step with the way this team's constructed but yeah I don't see a different offense per se

I'd agree somewhat. I am not smart enough to see things during gametime and haven't gone back to check.

The only things I've noticed is more Mobley touches and Garland and Mitchell have passed to each other more organically
