TJ has great hands! At least 3 steals in this one.

Wow, Cavs have been dying for a real back-up PG since Donovan arrived.

Mobley has been stroking it so far and if its real its not too bad. Teams have started to care a bit more about his attempts

Mobley has had two turnovers on his playmaking opportunities. However, I like that teams are respecting his offense. Should open up more opportunities for him to find the open man.

It didn't result in a bucket, but I really liked the inverted PNR w Mobley and Garland

Cavs looking really disjointed starting the second half. Too many unforced turnovers and incorrectly paced plays

Dang it, Mitch with his 4th foul. Refs have not been kind to the East leading Cavs.

Has Garland always had that quick of a release? I can't recall but he seems to get that deep shot off with ease.

First line-up during competitive minutes where neither Garland or Mitchell is on the floor. Is due to Mitchell and Garland both having 4 fouls, but still interesting

This was an absolutely disastrous quarter somewhat saved by this line-up putting the lead back to 17

There have been some signs of bigger flaws on our team despite the 5-0 record. Obvi every team cannot be perfect every single moment, but I think some of these woes will bleed into games w stronger opponents. Just a combo of disjointed plays and unforced turnovers that let the Magic get back into the game (and then us taking it back away which I commend our team for).

Closed the quarter strong. I like when LeVert looks to facilitate instead of score.

Travers with some great garbage time minutes. First NBA minutes too.

Feel bad for complaining about a game where half the 4th is garbage time. I'm looking at April, May, and optimistically June.

Due to the lead and foul trouble, the main guys should be well rested for Milwaukee tomorrow.

Pretty happy hanging 120 on last year's #1 defense, even if they had two starters out.

Usually jbk1234 would be ranting about the refs benching our backcourt, but somehow Jerome-Merrill-LeVert-Niang-Mobley put the game away at the end of the 3rd.

IMO, it's not a coincidence all 5 of those guys have been in the rotation all season, not to mention all of them can shoot to different degrees. Admittedly the lineup Orlando sent against them at the very end of the quarter, wasn't pretty.

I feel like all of those guys in the Cavs' lineup has been better defensively this year than their reputations (except possibly Mobley, who's already got a great reputation).

It doesn't hurt that Garland and Niang are in better shape this season and I don't think Kenny has the guys trying to cover as much ground on D as JBB did. Kenny is also mixing in the zone a lot too. And with the lighter minutes, fresher legs go a long ways.

Can't just keep whipping a horse ...
