Re: Game 29: 76ers @ Cavs 12/21/2024
I keep being busy during gametime so I am re-watching and fast forwarding through a lot so I don't get a ton of key takeaways
Loved Mobley's aggressiveness
I am still wishy-washy on Tyson's rotational future in the NBA, but he's a really smart off-ball relocator. He always seems to be making the right cut or knows when to move to get his defender out of space. My only worry with him is that idk if his athleticism will allow him to be a good enough finisher at the rim w his playstyle. He's a rookie and it may just take an adjustment that focuses less on raw power towards the rim to get him better looks on his drives
There were a ton of really good ball movement sequences in this one. My fav was Jerome pushing the pace and hitting Garland who fakes, drives past his defender into the lane, hits LeVert at the top of the key who then also drives in while Garland takes LeVert's spot where LeVert found Garland for an open three.

Drummond getting crossed and Mitchell just draining the 3 is a hilarious/awesome sequence.

To be fair, I think Mitchell stepped on Drummond's foot.
One of the the cool things about this season's Cavs team is we can take a gut punch from a Giannis or a Maxey and still blow out their team.
