No surprises on the #Cavs injury report today against Detroit.

#Cavs have added Donovan Mitchell (shoulder) to the injury report for tonight’s game in Detroit. He is questionable.

That's the weakest flagrant 2 ever.

I watched the whole game instead of watching any of the Spurs Hawks game lol. I couldn’t access RealGM during the game or after so didn’t get to comment anything

Game got really chippy and weird at the end. Refs couldn’t decide what was and wasn’t a foul by the end and it culminated in a cluster at the end of the 4th.

Despite that, DG was incredibly clutch including the buzzer beater to win. I liked Allen being tough and retaliating against Thompson (I think he only got tossed bc it was retaliation, but also I don’t think Ausar meant to and he shouldn’t have been tossed anyway). Mobley had himself a night as well.

And shoutout CPJ who was great off the bench. Idk why but whenever Tyson gets spot minutes it feels like he does worse than when he is fully apart of the game plan for the night. Shots look worse and he looks more flustered on D.

The fact JB played 11 guys is pretty shocking to me.

I think Allen got tossed because the officials were worried about losing control of the game (after they had already lost control of the game). It didn't help that JB was on the court yelling that the Pistons would retaliate. I liked that TT stood on the court in his warm-ups as a first line of defense.

There were at least three obvious uncalled pushes by the Pistons that resulted in turnovers which is my pet peeve. You want to let them play, fine, but when the result is the offensive player gets knocked out of bounds, or into the backcourt, or has his pivot foot moved for him, you have to call that.

Isaiah Stewart pushed JA and Mobley for defensive and offensive rebounds like three or four times lol. It was a bit ridiculous

fwiw, there can be an adjustment to coming off the bench for a player who's always started. We should appreciate our bench shooters more who can come in cold and start dropping 3's without needing to get warmed up or find the range first.
