Orlando fans must be livid... despite the fact that they just beat us there are posts on Detroit, Toronto, Philly, Washington, and the General Board all saying how they hope their team ends up playing Orlando instead of us. It seemed like every Detroit poster tonight could only say "Thank God Boston has to deal with Cleveland." Surprisingly enough the one board that has a larger majority of posters who say they can beat us is the Philly board. Makes sense since they havent been relevant long enough to realize what LeBron can do to their teams.

Just funny to me to see so many fans hoping their team avoids us. That's a compliment.

Just when I thought some teams were respecting us again.... Here comes those Bostonians. Seems like their fans are even more cocky than their players:

Our players have always said that CLE is the team that is ahead of us since they are the east champs. It is CLE players that are cocky and talk like Boston is a team they will easily beat. Celtics have nothing but respect for your team, I don`t think it is the same the other way around.

The fans? That is something totally different. I don`t agree with what the OP in that thread said, I think CLE is a very good team, but obviously I believe we can beat the cavs in a series.

I don't see anything wrong about that, they have every right to be cocky, they are by far the best team in the league and I believe they are much much more dangerous to us than the Pistons.

Several Cavs players have gone on record as saying that the Boston players talk way too much trash for a team that hasnt done anything yet. You are fooling yourself if you dont think your players are cocky. My favorite part of the last time we played Boston was Damon Jones telling Big Baby to "Shut your fat ass up!" Apparently Damon was sick of him talking all that junk.

I read that thread, I actually expected much worse from them. Nothing wrong with them being confident in the Celtics based on the results they've seen thus far. I'm not sure what started it with the Celtics and Cavs players from a few years ago. It seems to have lasted the test of time, it could be a very physical series. I don't think the Pierce spitting incident started it, but the teams just don't like each other. Detroit or Boston doesn't matter, it's going to be a tough series for both teams. The Celtics very well might win, but there won't be anything easy about it.

The thread got a lot better as it went on. When I originally posted the link it was all negative, then it seems some more educated posters chimed in.

Bucher said it was a couple "former" Cavaliers.. I imagine it was Drew who was talking the most about this...

Drew is not the smartest Cheese-it in the box...

Who **** cares who is cocky or not? Let both of your teams do their talking on the court...And BTW I think you guys could take Boston... their great players dont really matchup well with you guys.
Pavlovic CAN play good D on Ray Allen
Lebron gives a lot of fits to PP on D and on Offense
Ben Wallace is known for his d and rebounding and could provide that for you guys against Garnett...
But the only thing is Garnett will have a walkthrough playing D against Big ben
West,Ilguaskas>>Rondo, Perkins

Since this thread has also become our look what people are saying thread... How funny is that new EC thread on the general board where its basically just Wizard and Orlando fans fighting back and forth... Its nice to finally not have us as the target for both groups.

Well if we beat Toronto we knock them out of the 5 spot and Washington in. So when Gilbert comes back we can win in 5 while he shoots 36%.

I saw maybe one or two wizards fans in that thread....basically just ORL fans arguing with themselves.
