I'm not really worried about this team

Post#1 » by ClevelandFan23 » Wed Mar 26, 2008 5:37 pm

Most people I talk to say oh we stink we aren't going anywhere this year blah blah blah. I say look at last year. Who gave us a chance? Nobody. We have LeBron and whether you like to admit it or not this cavalier team plays up to their competition and down to their competition. I know its very frustrating but the teams like Detroit and Boston we will play tough. I think we have a psychological advantage over Detroit I think they don't want to play us. IF we get to the finals again I think we'll have a shot to win it just because of the experience we had last year in there and the fact that the west is so good they will beat each other up. I just think we need to be more positive.

Well, I think there is a better chance of us losing in the first round than getting to the Finals again, let alone to win it all. Then again, I surely wouldn't mind if I am dead wrong...

Some more optimism to this page is always welcome.

I kind of agree with what Lebron was reported saying in last weeks game against Detroit. They want to see Boston first and then Detroit. And thats why they are comfortable sitting in the 4th spot.

They attack Boston with fresh legs because get to them while they have no answer for Lebron since Cavs have won against them. Seeing Detroit first would take the wind out of them because you know it will be a long, hard series. So instead see them second when you have the psychological edge of confrence finals 2 years in a row and beating Boston before makes you that much bigger and badder.

And I have been saying the same thing about the West. Remember Detroits 1st championship when Lakers were supposed to cream them but the ran out of gas and just looked flat. Whoever comes out of the east has that chance again. I'm just hoping it is the Cavs. But history states Finals losers dont make it back but Lebron is capable of rewriting history. Wouldnt it be great if Kobe wins MVP and Lebron wins Finals MVP to throw it in the NBA's face. 6 triple doubles to win series 4-2.

Now this is some nice optimism.

Cavs have a LONG way to go and only 10 regular season games left.

I'm not overly confident about our chances right now
