I don't think the Nets will be doing anything to help Lebrons team improve. They want him to want out of there & into Brooklyn in a few years

The Nets have enough cap room for a max contract if they let all their current expirings go, however that isn't including the fact the Nets will probably be a lotto team the next two years, which is about $6 mil & they'll have Dallas's first in 2010 as well, when you factor in the cap holds that Marcus Williams & Josh Boone will represent (unless they just walk) the Nets won't have enough room with Vince still on the cap.

If they moved Vince for expirings, they'd probably be able to tell Lebron he can bring any F/A he wants with him.

Oh, so the Nets are dreaming like Orlando did when the brought in McGrady and Grant Hill which didn't work out since nothing is guarenteed. More likely scenerio is the Nets replacing the Atlanta Hawks in their wait for the free agent savior who never came.

What exactly are the Nets supposed to do with the Brooklyn move around the corner ?

The Nets plan is to build a solid roster and have capspace in 2010 for a bigtime free agent to try and make a run at a championship with the free agent and the solid roster in the new Arena .

Now this is still about develping the young guys and keeping / bringing in some solid veteran that help that cause while also having enough Capspace to add someone when the time is right.
