Since Posey is gone, what other options?

Post#1 » by Da_James_Gang » Wed Jul 16, 2008 11:54 pm

I think 4 yrs for 25m was to much, i did want him but glad we didnt give him that kind of contract. So who should we be looking at now??

Childress is probably on the top of my list for someone who i think is realistic. What about a sign and trade....... av/2nd round pick for childress. They need a big because their front court is pretty weak, and i dont think av would block a trade to go there..........

I'd love to get Childress, but there is no way that Atlanta would trade him for a second rounder.

Just listing possible options, not saying they're likely or the best fits:

JR Smith
Josh Childress
Kelenna Azubuike
Matt Barnes
Nenad Krstic
Shaun Livingston
Jannero Pargo
CJ Miles
Carlos Delfino
Quinton Ross
Eddie House
Ricky Davis
Ira Newble

Who do you think we should go after? Being realistic, who do you think is most likely to end up signing with the Cavs?

Besides guys re-signing with their teams, what teams are the Cavs' biggest threat in terms of the remaining free agents (esp. Smith, Childress, Azubuike, Barnes, Pargo, etc.)? I feel Boston and Detroit are the only main competition. I'd really love JR, Childress, or Azu.

What I love about that clip is seeing who the Jazz player that layed him out after he attempted that was.
