Seats at The Q...

Post#1 » by C l u t c H 385 » Mon Oct 27, 2008 6:26 pm

What up y'all?

I'm a Utah Jazz fan in Buffalo, NY planning to attend the Nov. 15th Jazz @ Cavs game. How is the view from the upper levels?

I've only been to one other NBA game, that was in Toronto where no one cares about basketball so I bought $10 tickets and then moved down 9 rows from the court after the 1st quarter.

Any other tips on when to get there as far as getting autographs go?

Thanks.

A little follow up. Me and my friends are looking to go out to a bar after the game to catch the UFC Couture-Lesnar fight. Any suggestions for a place that's close by?

Thanks again.

First of all... Dont expect to move down if you are coming to The Q. The place almost always sells out, and definately will be packed to see Boozer, so there wont be a lot of open seats available.

Secondly, as with most other arenas the upper deck, or Loudville as they call it, has very decent views from the sides and less than stellar views from behind the baskets just like Gordon said.

Third, if you are looking for a good sports bar to watch the fight afterwords, there are plenty within a few blocks on either side of the arena. The Winking Lizard, Harry Buffalo, Thirsty Parrot, etc... are a few that come to mind. Shouldnt have a problem finding one to suit your needs.

Wear your Boozer jersey into the arena, and wear it up your ass on the way out...

Enjoy the game....

(BTW, if you want autographs from the Jazz, I'm going to give you two tips)

They stay at the Ritz Carlton by tower city in downtown Cleveland... My buddy who works there says the Spurs and Jazz are the best signing teams... You want to get there about 4:00 pm when the buses get ready to load up and go to the arena...

At the arena, the doors open an hour and a half before the game.... If you want the Jazz autographs, you need to go to section 123 by the visting players entrance... You can sit anywhere you want in that section during autograph time (which is up until the last player is off the floor after pre game shoot around).. Again, you should be able to get anyone you want from that team since they're supposed to be a great signing team...

If you want the Cavs, go to section 128.... But be advise, LeBron won't sign an autograph unless his life was hanging in the balance, so don't hold out hope for him... He's not really friendly with the fans... TRUST ME...

Thanks for the help guys. Should be a good game. I wish D-Will was healthy though.
