Well we had a good run with 11 in a row, i was actually glad the guys fought hard. It was the 2nd game of a back to back on the road, we were without Big Z and Boobie, and the ref's were making a lot of bad calls but we still almost pulled it out. Should win the next one against minny and hopefully Z is back in time to face Denver. Gibson still has another week out. But hey 20-4, who would have thought we would have that record after 24 games.

are you serious, im more impressed by the cavs by this game. This game could of gone either way and were missing 2 of our top 6 players. Any other season it would of been a blowout. Plus the hawks got some good old home cookin tonight

The announcers said something similar to this - that in the past we wouldn't have been able to come back. I don't buy it. Our team has always been very good at not giving up and battling back.

Certainly we likely win with either Z or Gibson. We probably win with one more pass on the last play too - west's shot was contested and Sasha was wide open about 7 feet to his right. No time to check the clock to see if there's time to make that pass, so you can't really fault West for shooting, though.

Time to start a new streak. Hopefully Z will be back for Denver.

That is exactly why I hate losing to inferior teams. It emboldens their inferior team loving fans as well.

As a Celtics fan I wish I could've watched this game. These are the two teams that present some of the biggest problems for the Celtics. Cavs fans seem to not think too highly of the Hawks? I at least think they're legit.

20-4 is really a great record though... almost any other year and you'd be atop the NBA standings.

No, not really.. 40 FT's for a team that wasn't attacking the basket is a bit excessive...

A hands down better team doesn't lose that lead... Problem is, the FT's disparity is why they gained the lead..Short handed or not, there really was no reason to lose to the Hawks when we're in a position to win it...

How were you in a position to win? Please tell me how? We controlled the game from the get go and led for about 45 minutes. Have you guys even lead by more than 2 points? NO!

Oh come on Outlaw, it's not like i created a thread and trolled. You guys were too cocky for me to not respond.

The Hawks were parading to the FT line for sure, but they deserved to win IMO because they were hitting some big shots down the stretch. The JJ and Bibby pick and roll was killing us, I think they ran that play the entire 4th quarter literally every possession. Lebron was coming at them and they kept responding either with made baskets or made FT's, so kudos to them.

That said if Z was playing, we win this game easily for obvious reasons.

Like i said, still happy about the game. Almost pulled it out without Big Z and Boobie. Basically missing 25ppg. Lol i didn't know us Cavs fans were so cocky, probably one of the boards who actually gives credit to the other teams. But gotta love the hate, just bask in it.....

Didn't think other teams fans would be so sensative after a win.

Um, when you have a lead down the stretch of a game, you're in a position to win... And, well, when you have a player like LeBron on your team, and you have the lead down the stretch, you feel like it's your team's game to win every time...

I don't have a problem with the Hawks winning the game, I just feel like a large part of this game was handed to them... They made big shots down the stretch and deserved it based on that.. However, it's not like Bibby and Johnson were attacking at will yesterday to get to the line... Yet, the team doubled the FT attempts....

Our problem, I think, is that we have no post up game. Plus, when we go to JJ late, we never get the and-one's. We just can't finish games very well. For us, it's either hit the clutch 3s or lose.

The Cavs REALLY outplayed us defensively from the middle of the 3rd on. If we could play with their defensive intensity, we'd run teams off the court.

Okay, well it seems that some other Atlanta fans disagree with your view that you guys didn't play well.

I stayed up way too late to watch this game on DVR last night. I was absolutely livid. I try not to complain much but my God... The officiating made me want to throw my shoe through my brand new TV it was so bad. I really dont want to give any credit to the Hawks at all. They had the game basically handed to them and STILL almost lost to a team without two of its top 6 players. I think Indiana is light years better than the Hawks, and for that matter I think the struggling Raptors would give them a run. I absolutely hate it when officials are obviously so one sided. I kept waiting for them to realize they were giving the game to the Hawks and to stop making terrible calls, but they just kept coming.

Whew.. Now that I got that out of my system its time to move on. Hopefully next game we wont be playing 5 on 8.

LOL that the CAV fans are too cocky.

That is one of lamest excuse of a fan from another board posting (strutting) on the CAVs board.

So Atlanta beat the CAVs without 2 key rotation players and did so not looking particularly impressive in the process. I believe some non CAV fan is confused about who is being cocky here.

Dallas, Denver, Utah, New Jersey, Atlanta - do any of those teams count?
