At least he is fine. Would have been a killer if he was out.. Wally has been playing pretty well the last 5 games or so.

I figured it was. When they did a close up on the bench, when the trainers were looking at him, it already looked puffed/swelled up.

Could have been worse. We actually need Wally, as Exile said he has been playing real well lately.

I'm really torn on whether to trade him now.

From the Bucks board, we do you guys think of this trade?

Hammond's had great interest in acquiring PG Delonte West prior to obtaining Ridnour. Ridnour will be back in 4-weeks and could help the Cavs in their playoff push, but more importantly provides 6.5 mil. of cap relief for the 2010/11 season in any attempts for the Cavs to re-sign LeBron James.

Bucks Outgoing: SF Jefferson and PG Ridnour

Bucks Incoming: SF Sczercbiak and PG West

This trade seems much fairer because although we'd have to take back West's contract for 3-years, it's a reasonable contract and he's a young player that plays a position of current need for the Bucks. Hammond interest level in West was very high, but the talk was that West was going to Europe.

West will return from injury in a week to a week and a half and provide the Bucks both near term and long term assistance at a position of need. West's cap number for next season is 4.2 and the season after is 4.6, so we'd also be saving 2.3 mil. in cap relief next year by obtaining West for Ridnour. Of course as mentioned Ridnour comes off the books at the perfect time for the Cavs, so this trade helps both clubs.

If we are going to give the Cavs RJ for Wally, we should be able to include Ridnour for West in the deal. This type of trade gives us addition cap relief next season and a young proven PG that provides insurance should Sessions walk and a workable cap number should we re-sign Sessions. Obviously another plus is the fact that West can slide over to the SG position.

BTW, yes this trade works even though West has a lower cap number of 3.8 mil. for this season!
Never under estimate the value of a Buck!

No way! West is more important to us than those two average players you would be sending out.

Forget West, just Wally and a future 2nd.

RJ

FOR

Wally, 2nd

Cavs get a solid vet and legit wing scorer/defender next to Lebron to take into the playoffs and Bucks get rid of RJ so they can pay Sessions/CV. Also get a 2nd to add a bit more needed value. Fair deal I think.

I don't think the Cavs are interested in Jefferson and Wally has been playing very well lately.. Oh and we usually draft better in the 2nd round.

the only thing i personally would want from milwaukee in return for wally would charlie bell & charlie v. it gives us more depth at every position without giving up much or compromising the future. but this deal would never happen.
