He could prolong his career by switching to PF when he loses athleticism. If he really learns how to fully utilize his body in the post.

burn our earlier or your just going by tmac. kobe is about tobe 31 and hes no where near burnt out. kg isnt close to burnt out he just plays with more scorers on his team and thats why his pts are down because ray and pierce have to get their shots also. i think tmac is just injury prone/does not condition his body properly in the offseason and comes back from injuries to quickly. lerbon should go for over 35,000 pts in his career.

20% chance of beating Jordan. Please. I say 90% chance of passing Jordan. I am so sure that you are wrong that I will bet you $1000 and give you 10 to 1 odds. At his current pace he would be around 31 - 32 when it happens. Think about these 3 factors...

1. He seems like he is almost indestructible. Not the body type conducive to injury.
2. If he ever gets into a D'Antoni style offense with a great PG he may score 40 a game. Browns offense limits his possessions and the teams possessions.
3. With a skill set like his it is easy to imagine him being effective until he is 40+ years old.

If I was to guess I'd say 45000 points when he retires.

Seeing as to how you can predict the future, why don't you let us in on next weeks winning lotto numbers!!! Before you start recruiting people to join the church of Lebron, why don't you wait for him to win at least ONE 'ship before you begin touting him as someone who has a 90% chance of passing Jordan. Sorry to break it to you but by his 6th season Jordan had scored 14016 pts while Lebron (assuming he averages approximately the same amount as last year) will have accumulated a total of approx. 12400. Keep in mind that Jordans second season (85-86) was a year where he played a dismal 25 mpg versus the 40 mpg during most of his other seasons. Did i mention that Jordan was averaging 33.6 ppg in his 6th season while Lebron is currently averaging 28.3? Not to mention that he averaged over 30 ppg 5 more times during the remaining 10 seasons of his career, while reaching 28.6 ppg once as well. In total Jordan accumulated 32292 pts over his entire 15 season career and yet Lebron will expectedly put up 45, 000? You sure that you still want to make that bet?

Assuming that your statement regarding LBJ surpassing MJ encompasses more than just his accumulative points, keep this in mind. MJ was a 14 time all-star, DPOY, 5 time MVP, 6 times Finals MVP, 11 time scoring champion, and upped nearly all of his percentages and stats in the finals, which says a hell of a lot about a players mental toughness.

As much as i love Lebron, it's utterly ridiculous to say that you are "90% sure" and will bet your house, mom and first born son on the fact that Lebron will surpass KAJ on the all time scoring list, let alone MJ. Oh, and all this by the time he's 32 right?

Side note... Maybe more impressive is that LeBron is even higher up on the All Time Assists list. He's at #178 (NBA/ABA) or #167 (just NBA) with 2,989 assists. He's about to pass the likes of Doug Christie, Johnny Dawkins, Greg Anthony, and Derek Fisher.
