What do we di when Big ben comes back and our p.o. rotation?

Post#1 » by 3peat » Sun Mar 29, 2009 7:44 pm

When ben comes back to we put him back in the starting lineup, or move him to the bench with joe?
Personally id like to see him move to the bench, just because i think Joe and him make a great combo much like Big z and Ben. Verajou is playing fantastic as a starter and a little more size with verajou will help a ton against Bos and LA if we make it that far.

and what is your playoff rotation looking like?

mine:
Mo will/ Boobie
Delonte/ Pavs
Lebron/ Wally
Verajou/ Ben
Big Z/ Smith

10 man rotation.
YES i have pavlovic because of his size and defense at the 2.

I think Ben goes back to starting. But seriously, who cares who starts, it's who finishes that matters and Ben is generally not going to be on the floor to close out a game.

That is true. It seemed like Varejao finished the games when Ben was healthy.

Starting Lineup:

Mo
West
LeBron
Varejao (Hinted by MIke Brown that he will continue to start)
Big Z

Playoff Bench Rotation:

West
Sasha
Wally
Smith
Ben

I dont think Gibson will see big minutes in the postseason, and he doesnt deserve to either.

I have to agree with having Big Ben coming off of the bench. You just can't mess with team chemistry when its at its best. Varejao is playing unbelievable and Big Ben is just coming back from an injury. Even Big Ben realizes that he'll have to accept a lesser role in the post season at this juncture because of the way the team is playing.

I really like the Andy/Z front-line. That gives us more size and also keeps teams from doubling constantly off our PF like they do with Ben in the game. Andy is always moving off the ball and can finish layups so you have to honor him in the paint.

Big Ben will be needed as a defensive presence, but I would like to see him with Joe Smith off the bench.

I think Andy continues to start and he really deserves it. This is basically the changing of the guard. Both Andy and Ben will be very important against Boston and LA' trying to disrupt Garnett and Gasol.

My rotation is the same as the OP minus Boobie. I would love to see a little bit of Kinsey instead.
Is Larry Hughes having fun yet?

have Ben come off the bench the rest of time here on out and have him in the game when the Cavs need the big Defensive stops. That way the Cavs can mantain chemsitry
