I wasnt at all surprised we lost. As soon as I heard about that stupid party I knew we were losing to those guys.

For the Wiz guy that asked if we really think it had an effect.... ABSOLUTELY. We've seen it far too many times from this team for it to just be a coincidence. If this had happened only once or twice over the past 3-4 years then maybe you could make that case, but this has happened far far far more often than that. Fortunately most of these parties before games left last season along with Damon, Gooden, Marshall, and Hughes, but we've still had a couple nights of residual effects this year.

Horrible decision by the team, and if it ends up costing them HCA then I hope they get blasted by the media for it.

Do you guys honestly think that the only time that players go out and party is when they announce/publicize a specific party at a club? The causal link between partying and game performance is flimsy, because no one really knows how often these guys truly go out. We hear about it when they link up with a local promoter and publicize an event, but it's not like they're in their hotel rooms playing Scrabble every other night of the year.

What made the April Fool's party so much more damaging than any other night?
Always remember, my friend: the world will change again. And you may have to come back through everywhere you've been.

i know of at least 4 night-before game parties - the christmas washington game, miami, houston and this past washington game...how'd those 4 games turn out for us? 1-3 and we only got the one win because the wiz choked away the christmas game

they can go out before the games, just dont get trashed

This was a crappy loss for sure. Props to the Wizards, they were just the team that wanted it more last night. I'm happy that they are starting to get their team healthy, so next year we can have some really intense games. I'm not sure I would want to risk Arenas and Haywood if I was a Wiz fan though. They took this long to get healthy, whats another 8 games missed? Thats just my opinion. Time to get over it and take it out on Orlando.

They were completely healthy the first year, and young, and fresh and we were garbage. Oh whatever I'll let you have your 3 years ago we shoulda, woulda, coulda. Lord knows that's about all you have at this point. I know how "there's always next year goes" when fill in the blank happens.

Work on your comprehension skills... I said "Injuries did us MORE then LeBron did"... Never said Lebron didn't do anything...

If you want to play it like that can I fire back with this? What did you need Arenas for in the 2 he missed? You need a guy with a bigmouth to fuel the media and our team who will show up to miss clutch free throws? Seriously is it not possible Gilbert just embarrasses his playoff career further if he's in the game?

Seriously Gilbert has proven nothing other than can't back all of his talk up. Sums up your whole team actually.

That was Stevenson, and yes he needs to shut his mouth until he can bring it.

No Gilbert came out and said he wanted us because of the trade and that we couldn't beat them three straight. Also if your impyling Gilbert does not have a big mouth GTFO. He has been quiet this year, but I would too if my team paid me max to wear a suit.

You call that talking trash? I call Artest talking Sh*it to Kobe trash talk, but that's me.

The Folks in DC still want to play Cleveland in the playoff, that's not going to change.

Best of luck in the playoffs.

Hope we can meets again, and just think the Cavs could break my hart again.

Arenas' isn't all that. The dude talks like he's a basketball GOD, which he isn't. He used to be a good scorer and star, but should shut his mouth till he proves he's still good when he gets back from this 2 year injury.
