I totally agree with you. I used to respect Ray Allen and KG, but since they landed in Boston, their cockiness and their giant egos are really terrible. Then the scrubs in Marbury and Moore, then Pierce, that team is my least favorite.

With that said, I have always found the Celtics fanbase to be one of the better groups on this website and have even enjoyed visiting and posting on their forum from time to time. Really a good group of guys... However, if they are trying to make an argument about OUR team being classless than that is flat out absurd. You cant have a team with a spitter, a guy who is always cussing out the crowd, and a guy who throws elbows into another man's junk as your BIG 3 and call out other teams for being classless. Give me a break. When their guy's pull this stuff its that "Swagger" and "Ubuntu" nonsense, but when our guys do it its classless.

Well said, sir, well said.

GTFO, he has 10 blocks this year alone

Best thing that happened yesterday is that the rest of the nation on a nationally televized NBA game saw Allen go for the low blow (yes Andy can piss anyone off). But with that said, I guarantee that the league office and officals took a second look at that elbow to the groin and will have that image someplace in the back of their minds. Even if it means nothing for this game or any other right now, someone was influenced by that video (the fans, the press, whoever). Why? because men don't do that!

However, before games KG calls the crowd "F'n Fa88ots" (But it's just because he's such a warrior and competitor" )

Paul Pierce spitted over at the Cavs bench before..

Ray Allen elbowing AV in the groin..

Big 3 apparently are just as classy.. Cavs are having fun out there.. They didn't do this exclusively against the Celtics.. They've been doing it virtually the entire 2nd half of the season regardless of the opponent...

LOL. Cavs have been doing it the entire second half of the season? So it only takes half a good season to get over the top celebration from the Cavs? Guess that what happens when you're a franchise that has never won anything.

Celtic fan here. Didn’t watch much of the blowout as it would have been bad for my digestion of the Easter ham. Thankfully, we haven’t been on the receiving end of too many massacres in the past two years.

A couple of thoughts on the game:

LBJ was crazy good. When he’s tossing in fall away threes as consistently as he did today, nobody is beating Cleveland. Fortunately for us, he isn’t immortal every night.

Loved your defense. That was our hallmark last year and essential for a title run. You were playing championship D today.

Celebrations didn’t bother me, because I wasn’t watching by then. We have done our share of dancing over the last two years, and I’m sure there are plenty of opponents seething and waiting for their chance to reciprocate. Nothing wrong with a good celebration as long as you can back it up on the court. The Cavs have surely walked the walk this year. Also, D West was a fan favorite in Boston and no true C fan will deny him the right to a little celebration.

I giggle when I hear that some of you have lost your love for KG and Ray Ray. Of course you loved them before because they always had the grace to lose early. Everyone could feel bad for the classy guys who just never had the talent around them to win. After they do win, they’re just a-holes. If you guys take the title this year, you’ll start to hear about LBJ being selfish and other crap. As far as the knee to the groin by Ray, there was no question he was in the wrong. However, if you’ve never done something similar when you were suffering a humiliating a-kicking, you never played basketball in my neighborhood. I’m a pretty even tempered guy, but I’ve done some pretty crazy things on a basketball court.

I’m strangely apathetic to our loss today. I knew we’d have to be incredibly lucky to beat you guys today without Garnett and Poe. With Baby starting and Mikki More as the first big man off the bench, we just can’t match up with you. Don’t know if we can beat you with everybody healthy or not, but I sure hope we get the chance in a couple of months.

Bottom line,we haven’t been rivals long enough for me to work up a hatred for you guys. I’m hoping we can get all of our guys back and defend our title, but if you guys take the East, I guarantee I’ll be rooting for you in the finals (especially if its against LA). Hope we’re doing battle in a month or two.

I understand and agree with just about everything you said. It's just one game, I am however wondering why Celtics fans are all over the place creating havoc because of is. But I welcome your thoughtful post on this board. Fact is, every team has games where things just aren't going well. It happens! The matter of the fact is that the Cavs needed the win and the Celts had nothing to play for but bragging rights. Whats funny to me is that I'm not sure that Garnett would have mattered, but Powe might have. The Cavs tend to have problems with players that are going to take it to them inside with strength and that's not what I think of when I picture Garnett.

Gotta be honest, I don't really see tons of Celts fans in uproar about the sideline antics at the end of yesterdays game. Lots of other teams fans talking about Celtic uproar, but the uproar itself seems to pale in comparison.

At the end of the day, the game meant little. If nothing else, it gave the Celts extra incentive to play stronger at the Q. Had we won that game, I would be concerned about a lackadasical effort (when/if) game 1 of the ECF rolls around. I expect a much more focused effort should the opportunity arrise in the playoffs.

All that said, I think both teams face tough 2nd round opponents. Don't sleep on Miami, DWade is gonna be firing on all cylinders after losing out on the MVP voting to Lebron. That potential series has upset written all over it, imho.

Good luck the rest of the way through, it'll be another entertaining playoff season without a doubt.

How could you not lose respect for them? They are dirty players, especially KG. I have never seen anyone on our roster do a dirty play or try to hurt someone this year, and yet it happens to the Cavs all the time. And you think it's right to elbow someone in the balls because your losing? That absurd.

Not concerned by STDWade in the least. It's D12 I would be worried about. Not even considered for MVP is gonna have him steaming. Good luck with him and please wear him out a bit for us.
