You weren't because of LeBron, once the lead was cut to eight early in the fourth I thought if they played good defense they sure as hell could of made it a tight ball game, I'm sure none of you felt like it was a "playoff game" because frankly I don't think Detroit would of won I just think it was a competitive game, that's the only point I'm making, It doesn't mean I'm saying Detroit was/is going to win.
For example: For as depleted as the Wizards were/are, I would feel like they would at least give more of an effort, and would have the confidence to back it up... The Pistons just don't...The Cavs aren't going to let Rip beat them, and it's going to force someone like Stuckey or Bynum to take more shots, and I just don't believe they are good enough to beat the Cavs...
Sheed is not going to get many open looks beyond the arc, and he's never really killed the Cavs from the post, so I don't know how much of a factor he will be ?? The Pistons offense just seems to be a lot of midrange jumpers, and a few 3's..
I think it might make sense for them to at least play the Fabio looking fella to at least keep the defense honest, and allow Sheed to get a few more touches in the post...
I completely agree with you, we're a jump shooting team with people who don't care and aren't knocking down good looks. We barely shoot three's and when we do, barely make them, that's just how this season has gone and I don't think in any way is this team better then Cleveland, I just thought it was a bit competitive.
I don't think they don't believe they can win, I think they just don't want to put the effort in as much as they wanted too back when they were younger players. And as for effort, hell, I think the Thunder would put in more effort.
