Why would you want to tie this record, Manny ? It's meaningless... 41-0 would be one thing but whether you lose 1,2, or 10, it still means you lost at home..

If the Cavs wanted it, they would have gotten it with ease... They basically told the Celtics they can have it and what they thought about it.. It was at their mercy..

Ok I've calm down... On a brighter note... I have all faith in this bench come playoff time... No doubt in my mind that they are ready

Boobie playing well... Wally playing well... Home Court advantage...

Record Books can look like this..

Best Home Record ___ Celtics 40-1* (Cavaliers chose not equal it) ;)

The best part about resting our starters tonight was giving Boobie and Wally, and to a lesser extent Darnell and Sasha a chance to increase their confidance. All 4 of those guys played very very well.

I think Boobie's clutch buckets will go a long way in helping him get back in playoff form. He had that ever so important swagger back tonight and looks to be healthy. Now if he could just get some shoes that didnt slip on the floor every time he cuts.

I've hated on Wally plenty this year, but dude is proving that he is ready to be a solid addition off the bench because he provides a lot of mismatches. I hate to say it, but he has indeed earned his spot in the rotation ahead of my boy Pavs. Props to Wally for exceeding my expectations.

Sasha is a whooping boy for lots of Cavs fans, but you guys gotta admit he had a pretty solid game tonight. He was agressive and hit quite a few open shots. On top of that he played some pretty solid D. I dont know how many playoff minutes he'll get, but having him as someone who can come in and lockup Pierce and/or Kobe is going to be a nice option for us in the playoffs. Admit it Pip, he played well tonight.

D-Block also played well. He still makes quite a few rookie mistakes and is often out of position, but he has come an extremely long way from his beginning of the season suckyness. I dont expect he'll get many meaningful playoff minutes, but you can beat he'll be ready in case we need him.

Lorenzen Wright sucks. I think we win if he doesnt play tonight.

edit: If the refs call that even close to fairly we win by 7+ in regulation.

Fortunately we are the Wine and Gold, not Whine and Gold.

Sasha is fine other than his horrible bball IQ. He makes poor decisions with the ball when given any kind of offensive freedom.

I'm not sure that's something that will ever change. He still has a role in the playoffs as a situational defender.
