What's even worse is that they were whining about one call. That's all, while Z and Varejao were acosted more than anyone in the game and yet they whine about one call that was at best debatable.

i don't see anyone talking about the refs on the Hawks board.

The Hawks have made a bunch of dumb turnovers and aren't taking care of the defensive glass. No way can they beat the Cavs like that.

Mo Evans on Lebron won't work.

I am not talking about the Hawks board or Hawks posters. I said "GB", general board!

I know. I was just pointing out that the Hawks fans aren't complaining about the refs.

ATL has no movement or flow offensively. They pass the ball and instead of attacking immediately, they pause and survey the situation. That allows the Cavs D to reset and tighten the screws. You have to constantly move the ball and move with the ball or else you're not going to score more than 75 points on us, and ATL does not do that. Josh Smith understands this and that's why he stood out, but their other wing and post players are terribly easy to defend. They set poor screens too, allow the defender to get by without much hindrance. After watching the Bulls/Celtics and Mavs/Nuggets set screens, ATL seems real soft and not schooled on the technique of hard screening.

Cavs played a meh game until about the middle of the 3rd and then the rust started to come off, at which point we destroyed them. I really thought if ATL was going to win a game it was going to be this one, but with that sort of offense I have no worries at all, sweep #2.

That is exactly what we have been griping about all year. The Hawks iso half court offense sucks.

The Hawks are a nice young team and luckily they don't run as much as they could. The game was much closer for 2 1/2 quarters than the final score. I'm a Bibby fan but he's really a SG in a PG body. They would be even better with a real distributing PG running the show.

Anyway congrats CAVS!! Only 11 more wins to the 'ship..

I am not surprised that Z was the most rusty since he really doesn't practice because of his feet. He should be better as the series continues.

No kidding! When we faced the Heat last series everyone was crying about all the calls Wade was getting. Now it's the same story with you guys and Lebron. Personally I'd like to see what they have to say about the actual game and our two teams, instead it's just a bunch of crybabies like you said. It's even more annoying for Hawks fans, we are so happy to finally be relevant again and officiating is the only thing anyone wants to talk about instead.

Anyways, regarding the actual game, we were right there with you guys in the 3rd quarter. But Cleveland could sense that we were becoming a bit stagnant offensively towards the end of the stanza and just poured it on to effectively end the game. That's the mark of a championship team right there.

See you boys tomorrow!

Yup, if ATL pushed the ball more we would have some problems. Why they insist on walking the ball up and trying to beat us in the half court is beyond me.

Bibby is not really one to push the tempo, not to mention the fact that they had to send more players to try to secure rebounds since we are a much better rebounding team than they are.

Our coach likes to slow it down... He makes them play how he wants to, not what their strengths are .... Dumb? I know...

Would we beat you guys if we run more? probably not, but we would be more competitive... We do run at home though and i can't wait till the game 3....

Hopefully we get a competitive game tonight...
