Orlando in the east. Overall, Denver. The way things look right now gives this wizard fan even more confident that the Wiz if healthy would give the Cavs a better series than any other team in the east.

Yes, this what most fans are not seeing. The Lakers have NO D. The east is PHYSICAL and rough. Houston is the only physically tough team out there. I've been saying this the entire year, Lakers are overrated

hope you guys realize the Magic/Celts winner will be a competition.
It is about matchup.
I think the Celts are pretty tough to beat. They have toughness.

With Garnett, the geriatric Celts would win 2 games against the Cavs. Now, it will be over in 5 if they get lucky and beat Orlando. Age and wear play a factor in the playoffs. The Celts have played a ton of games the last 2 seasons and that will catch up them as their best players less Rondo are on the wrong side of 30.

I think it goes like this:

Orlando
Houston
Lakers
Celtics

If Orlando gets going from long range, there's really nothing you can do. If they miss, you know that there's a beast of a rebounder lurking that can grab the Offensive rebounds.

Houston - Obviously, they have the toolset to shut down Lebron James or at least keep him out of the paint. If LBJ ain't driving in, he's not making plays for himself or others. You can bet Battier will have a book on how to defend LBJ also.

Lakers - They got two, sometimes three seven-footers on the court. Again, clogging the lane will make it hard for LBJ. However, the Lakers don't defend the perimeter well, so the key here is to find open shooters like Mo and Delonte. Plus, if LBJ wants to battle it out with Kobe and guard him, Odom will have a field day.

Celtics: - I still think the Celtics are quite lethal even without KG. In fact they beat Cleveland without KG before. Ray Allen is god, and if he gets going, oh man. Plus Big Baby is kinda like a Poor Man's KG right now. He's almost (ALMOST) automatic from midrange, and he hustles and defends pretty well. And Perkins is a beast defensively. Then of course you have Rondo, who's been man handling opposing guards all playoff long.

Howard is tough to stop and tough on defense in the middle, but they're perimeter defense blows. Boston is more balanced all around. Orlando still may win but Boston is a tougher team around
True, but the way our defense is setup, it makes Boston easier to guard than the Magic..

Doubling along the perimeter for the Cavs is much easier than doubling down on an interior presence..

You stop Rondo, you stop the Celtics...
