This years draft

Post#1 » by Amon_Ones88 » Fri May 22, 2009 7:57 pm

Originally I was all about trading everything we could to get a **** teams lottery pick next year, but all of the sudden we are look slow down low, so I might not want to wait and with no one in free agency that would be worth the money, do you guys think there is any way we could move up to the front of this draft. I was thinking money (whatever we get when Snow retires), both picks this year and our first pick next year, to move up to pick three (since the Thunder already have 2 first round picks) and grab Hasheem Thebeet. He is 7-3 and a monster. What do you think is it a good idea and is it possible?
"Shaqtastic. 24 points." "Where'd you get so many Q's?" (With a stern scary look) "Don't worry about it..."

it would be a great idea to shut it, i think you should be focused on a championship and not the frikken draft.

Good idea, but highly doubtful. Thabeet would be a HUGE pick up for us; but not happening.

Since nobody on here is actually working for the Cavs I think we can talk draft. It's not like the draft is taking our focus away from rooting for the team.

I don't think our picks would get us up to one of the top 3 picks. It's just not enough value especially considering that people look at this years draft as being crappy after the first few picks.

Speaking of the draft, we are finishing up a RealGM mock draft in the draft forum.
The Cavs are on the clock at pick #30. If any of you are interested in making a selection for Cleveland come on by and post your pick. Thanks in advance for participating. - Gopher

I'm not sure why the Cavs are so concerned about saving cap room. Why don't we win a title right now. Antawn Jamision would have been great to have on this team and taken so much pressure off of Lebron. Even with all our matchup problems we are not being blown out. Defensively, Jamison would have been a much better matchup against Rashard Lewis than Z or Varejao.
