I think they also want to keep Lebron fresh by not having him work so hard on defense. Hedo isn't an isolation player, he is constantly rolling off screens.
Lebron running through picks by Howard and Gortat all game will take it's toll.
That said I don't think we have a choice. If Lebron can slow Hedo down, it takes away their playmaking - that could be the edge we need to win the game. But he will need help on offense from Mo/Delonte/Boobie.
