CHA-CLE trade?

Post#1 » by Sebzor » Sun Jun 14, 2009 12:32 pm

N. Mohammed/D. Diop/V. Radmanovic/12th pick
-for: Z. Ilgauskas/A. Pavlovic/J. Hickson

Mohammed & Diop would replace Ilgauskas & Wallace (retires)
Radmanovic would replace Szcerbiak (not resigned)
CLE select:
12th: E. Clark
30th: D. Christmas

No I do not like this. We would trade Wallace before he retires anyway. Diop sucks, we had him once, and Mohammed is inconsistent. I do not know much about Earl Clark so I guess if this trade was to be done he would be the kicker. But if we got a pick that high and traded for 2 big men then we would prolly go with a big SG/SF. Maybe someone like Gerald Henderson from Duke. I do not like this I think it ruins a lot of chemistry and in no way makes us better. Z stays and only trade Hickson if it will pay off huge. We need just a few upgrades but not a lot of departures. Ben can be traded and so can Sasha. I actually would like it if Wally and Smith stayed for Veterans min. and we trade Ben and Sasha for another piece and I think we should be just fine.

It's more realistic than a lot of the other trades I've seen thrown out there but Diop is a deal-breaker IMO...

Horrible deal.

But I do like VladRad. I wouldn't mind Cleveland finding a way to bring him in. IMO he is underrated. He is a 6-10 SF/PF that is a very good 3-point shooter. He would be a nice option coming off the bench. But if Cleveland is going to trade Hickson and Z for bad contracts, the 12th pick isn't going to be enough. It would have to be something involving Okafur or Wallace.

I'll never understand threads like these. You make up a trade that's not even a rumor and then ask for people opinion...Why? only thing I can think of is you want to know if people agree the trade is even and a decent offer. Again what's the point it's not even a rumor?

What's the point of any trade scenario? What's the point of the trade section on realgm?
