I dont see how this trade helps Cle get over Orl.. another awful defender and still no frontcourt help to deal with Howard..... IMO, Shaq is a better fit, not because this is a wet dream for me, but because of Cle needs as of now!

I'm really not all that excited about bringing VC here. He would be without question the 2nd best player on our team, by far the best player Lebron has ever played with.

But we still would have major front court issues. I suppose if we could find a way to sign Sheed, we could have Z/Sheed/Varejao/Hickson which is 4 decent bigs, 3 of which could play center. Maybe we could bring Joe Smith back also.

But alot of those guys are getting up there in age...we really need some proven youth in the frontcourt.

i guess i wouldnt be opposed to vince because he's another offensive option but that wasnt the problem against orlando...we couldnt defend the post worth a damn

our frontline would still get abused by orlando...we would have to rely on our improved scoring from vince because dwight would be pretty much guaranteed two or even three points every time down the court becaue of our terrible frontline

If we got Vince we could move Mo for a frontcourt upgrade. I dont want VInce AND Mo since they're both primarily ball-dominant scorers (Mo not so much). One could go with Lebron, but having 2 to go with Lebron would be redundant.

I like this trade alot if we followed it up by trading Mo for a frontcourt upgrade. We'd have a huge perimiter with our PG, SG, and SF all being bigger than almost any other player in the league of their position. That's 3 players who could post up even if they're not "big men"

Also, dont forget that players can improve their defense. Mo's defense improved a ton from the beginning to the end of the season.

Im shocked at how many people still dont realize that when looking at trades you cant just take a player's skill into account.... Its all about the benjaman's boys and girls, and we got em, which is why we're going to be able to dump Wallace and Sasha's contracts and get someone good.
