I would move Sasha/Gibson for Maggette though. Maggette would give us the lift off the bench that we desperately need. GSW can either keep Sasha or cut him. GSW saves a lot of money by getting out from under the Maggette mistake.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

I would do that too if GS was inclined to swap first round picks. Maggette would be a nice 6th man but his contract is very bad and would totally disrupt any 2010 plans. BTW, GS could still find a decent player like Derrick Brown at #30. Personally I don't see a huge difference between Derrick Brown and the guys who are projected higher like James Johnson and Terrence Williams (although T Will is the better ball handler).

This conversation is done. Crawford will be traded to the Hawks.

I'd still wouldn't mind trading Mags to you guys to help Bron.

If the STAT for Beans trade goes through, I would consider a Varejao s&t ($6.75 mil.) for Maggette. Cleveland could then look to move up in the draft to get an energy guy, Hansbrough/Blair, to replace Varejao's production.

The main reason this will not happen is Maggette's contract running through 2010. I would add a combination of Hickson/Gibson/30th/cash if Cleveland could get the 7th.

Maggs contract is worse than Crawford's. How about Grant Hill or trade for Raja Bell
