I stand by that statement. Which championship team from the last 30 years would last year's Lakers be favorites to beat? Only team I can think of is the Wade/Shaq Miami Heat. I don't think they would beat great defensive teams like the Olajuwon Rockets, the Bad Boy Pistons, the 2003 Pistons, or even the Duncan/Robinson Spurs (in fact they may lose to the Spurs this year). They couldn't beat Boston last year and almost lost to the Rockets this year, clearly LA has problems with good defensive teams.
That is called belittling LOL. Nobody did this last year when the Celtics won saying things like they wouldn't beat these teams from the past, BUT when the Lakers win then they would have lost to all the prior championship teams. I understand its "cool" to hate the Lakers, but show a little respect.
