Nice stats place, you guys should use it BEFORE making statements like this.

----

David Lee - 2008-2009 stats by quarter

Quarter Fga Fg% Fta Ft% Pts Reb Ast T/o Blk Stl
1st 4.2 .557 1.0 67% 5.4 3.7 0.7 0.5 0.0 0.3
2nd 2.3 .514 0.8 81% 3.0 2.4 0.4 0.4 0.0 0.2
3rd 3.1 .564 1.3 77% 4.5 3.1 0.7 0.5 0.1 0.3
4th 2.2 .562 1.0 75% 3.3 2.7 0.4 0.4 0.1 0.2

Or to simplify

Quarter Fga Fg% Fta Ft% Pts Reb Ast T/o Blk Stl
1st-3rd 9.6 .547 3.1 74% 12.9 9.2 1.8 1.4 0.1 0.8
4th 2.2 .562 1.0 75% 3.3 2.7 0.4 0.4 0.1 0.2

Or another simplified way is his best quarters are actually the 1st and 3rd quarters when most every team has their starters in for the majority of the quarter.

You can get Lee when Lebron forces a sign and trade to the Knicks.

damn Mo Williams just got exposed in this thread. I knew the guy was not really an all-star, he's more like a good 3rd or 4th option

Mo Williams - 2008-2009 stats by quarter

Quarter Fga Fg% Fta Ft% Pts Reb Ast T/o Stl
1st 3.2 .448 0.5 89% 3.7 0.7 1.1 0.5 0.2
2nd 4.0 .511 0.7 94% 5.3 0.9 1.1 0.7 0.2
3rd 3.1 .441 0.4 90% 3.8 0.7 0.8 0.5 0.2
4th 3.7 .463 1.3 89% 5.2 1.1 1.1 0.5 0.2

Interesting that Mo Williams actually did much better in the 2nd and especially 4th quarters where the likelihood of bench players being out there for opposing teams are more prevalent.

Only stat that moved considerable is points. I'm sure that's got nothing to do with Mo being called on to score when LeBron is on the bench...in the 2nd and 4th quarters.

Oh it most definitely did. If you take a look at the number of minutes that Lebron played per quarter (the 2nd and 4th quarters definitely were the quarters that he played less mpq than the 1st and 3rd). But that's not really the point. The point was that ridiculous assertion by that other guy that Lee get's his stats playing against bums in garbage time.
