again bro... you are wishing, hoping, and playing the what-if scenario.
I thought more of you guys at this board, but all the "WHOOOOOOOOOAHHHHHHHHHHH CALM DOWN MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!"...
it just makes you look very immature. I'm not here to e-fight with anyone. If I were you guys i guess i'd be hoping that VC will suck it up in Orlando too, so it's all good. It's just kind of a long shot that he won't be as good as Hedo, who really only had 1 good year with Orlando in his last 6 years.

are you really this worked up about it? kudos to you for taking the internet seriously but its really just another form of entertainment for me - especially in this portion of the offseason
as for this mini-topic that seems to have developed...i dont really care about vince carter. great pickup for the magic and im interested to see how it pans out but this is the cavs board. i care about what the cavs are doing and the cavs only. some seem to think hedo gave the cavs more matchup problems than vince but i dont really see it (i thought delonte did a pretty good job last year against hedo). ill worry about vince carter in the four meetings in the season and if theres a playoff matchup down the line - but those are down the line and you'll kill yourself worrying about those matchups now
in the meantime, if perpuating a myth about vince carter vs hedo turkoglu is entertaining and getting some people worked up, then why not? its not like we got any other basketball news to talk about and it beats getting 2010 jammed down our throats 24/7 by idiot knick fans. besides im sure you guys are doing the same thing to visitors to pass the time til the season starts - its just the nature of the offseason...no harm done i dont think (just look at the raptors thread on here high comedy lol)

Re: Triple Threat: A Countdown of the Best Trios in the NBA
It's not that VC doesn't work in Orlando.. He can do the same things that Hedo does.. It's just what the Cavs do defensively with their personnel will make it easier to guard what the Magic do..
Even if the Magic kept Hedo and never got Carter, it would be easier for the Cavs with what they added on the perimeter... If the Cavs didn't add anything, and the Magic got VC and lost Hedo, it would still be easier.. VC is a more talented scorer, but he's easier to defend...
The fact that the Cavs addressed their perimeter height issues kinda makes all this a moot point anyways.. However, I do think the Cavs can easily take care of this issue now regardless.... They can just stick Moon on Lewis and LeBron on VC... The Magic do not want to just use Lewis in the post against the Cavs anyways.. Other teams ? Maybe, but the Cavs have enough offensive firepower that the Magic want to use their best advantages... That means Lewis is an outside threat... Moon is long enough to challenge it..
VC does not have the size or quickness to really beat LeBron time after time...
Bottom line was the Cavs were one legit perimeter defender away from negating a lot of what the Magic did to them.. It wasn't the end all be all, but it was a mismatch, and the Magic used it to the best of their abilities... And even with being severly mismatched, it took the Magic two great clutch shots to take two of those games... Meaning, the Cavs were right there for the most part...
The Cavs significantly enhanced two areas of need against the Magic...(low post offense, perimeter defense) I don't see where the Magic enhanced any areas to really pull away from the Cavs...
Problem solved as far as I see it...

Re: Triple Threat: A Countdown of the Best Trios in the NBA
I think the best trios will all be in 2010 after the Free Agent dust has settled.
If Lebron stays in Cleveland then it can very well be there.
If he goes to Brooklyn it will most likely be there (the only real chance of having Lebron, Wade, and another All-Star caliber player together).....
Right now Boston has a sick 4some but they are old....
The Lakers probably have it in Kobe, Gasol, and Crazy Artesticles.
Need for Spreed.... must respect for the Cavs
