Ok so if we could possibly pull off the above trade for Bosh, I think we can get the rest of the pieces necessary to be the elite team of the East and be on par with Lakers if not better. It is a 3 way trade with two clubs that I think could possibly work for everyone. Washington Wizards and Charlotte Bobcats seem to be heading in the wrong direction. Wizards were thought to be in the mix of teams in the middle of the playoff list but they scratching to try and grab that last spot. Cats are in the same situation, and though they have showed promise, they are still on the outside trying ot grab one of those spots but they probably showed more today what they look like.... as good as Larry Brown and the Cats gave the Nets their first win today. So I propose:

Cavs

Shaquille Oneal
Jamario Moon
Danny Green
Darnell Jackson
2nd rd pick

for

Gerald Wallace
Boris Diaw
Brandan Haywood

Charlotte Bobcats

Gerald Wallace
Boris Diaw
Tyson Chadler
Acie Law

for

Shaquille Oneal
Antawn Jamison
Jamario Moon
Danny Green

Washington Wizards

Antawn Jamison
Brandan Haywood

for

Tyson Chandler
Darnell Jackson
Acie Law
2nd rd pick

Why?
Bobcats do this to get out a lot of salary. They have to give up their best player in Wallace but get the expiring the size of Shaq and a tar heel Jordan always liked in Jamison who keeps them competitive. Plus another tarheel on the wing to hopefully grow next to Gerald Henderson and Augustine.

Felton/ Augustine
SJax/ Flip Murray/Gerald Henderson
Moon/ Stephen Graham/ Danny Green
Antawn Jamison/ Stephen Graham/ Derrick Brown
Shaquille Oneal/ Nazr Mohammad

Wizards get out of Jamisons contract and get one that ends the same time as Butlers to give them 2 large expirings next year. I think they may have to get compensated more but they get a lot of cap relief.

Arenas/ Boykins / Critteon
Foye/ Young / Stevenson
Butler/ Mike Miller/ McGuire
Blatche/ Oberto/ Darnell Jackson
Tyson Chandler/ JaVale McGee

Cavs do this to finalize their roster. They get a great wing with a long contract(Wallace), they get their east coast version of Lamar Odom to come off the bench in Boris Diaw, and they get a center who is having a great year, is big, plays good man defense, double-double w/ almost 2 blks a game who I think would be great next to Bosh. Cavs gut the rest of thier roster but I think this is a team to reckon with in the East.

Mo/ Daniel Gibson
Gerald Wallace/ Delonte West
Lebron James/ Anthony Parker / Jawad Williams
Chris Bosh/ Boris Diaw / Leon Powe
Brandan Haywood/ Anderson Varajao/ Zydrunas Ilgauskas

That is the team I will play with the next 5 years. The starting lineup in the best in my opinion. lakers may have the edge with Bynum but then we have the edge at PG with Mo. I think the difference between Kobe over Wallace is the same Lebron and Bosh have over Artest and Gasol. Diaw matches what Odom brings to them. But AV , Gibson, and Delonte I think are better than Shannon Brown, Sasha, and Powell.

There are only four big men that I think the Cavaliers have an interest in:

Bosh
Brand
Amare
Kaman

And "possibly" Dalembert

The others that the Cavs may have an interest in:

Kevin Martin
Tracy McGrady
Rip Hamilton
AI2(Iggy)

and possibly:
Michael Redd
Raja Bell
Posey

I know that a lot of you know me and my propensity for coming up with trade ideas, but I just can't help getting over the feeling that the Cavaliers are going to make a major move before the deadline. My reasoning for this is because the Cavs will not have the money/assets to make a deal later this summer. So, if they plan on keeping LeBron Happy, and in a Cavaliers' uniform, then I think there is about an 85% chance that we make a major move.

There is little doubt that the Cavs will make a big move by the trade deadline. It's just a matter of who will be available. The issue with that is the team really won't have much time to adjust if the trade is made close to the deadline, which I'm guessing might be the case seeing as the Cavs biggest trade pieces are expirings (I'm including Delonte's contract in that because it's basically an expiring).
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

Well, since you have all this inside information, and apparently are great buddies with Chris, then perhaps you should get a job at ESPN, where they'll pay you for that, ;)

As for me, and my scenarios... this is like a game for me. I am only right about 5% of the time, but I enjoy coming-up with the ideas anyway. Besides, if it weren't for people like me, who come up with these ideas, then we'd have nothing to argue about, and you wouldn't be able to tell the world that you and CB are best buddies. You should be thanking me.

~Peace

PS: Is Chris resigning, or re-signing?

If you are seriously going to put Brand and "possibly" Dalembert on a list of big men the Cavs have interest in, then you should add Jamison. Also, why would we look at Dalembert when we have Varejao? Ahh, I can't stop, your list is pretty bad. Brand? Dalembert? McGrady? Iguodala?
Well at least we're not Detroit!

Why not just toss in Chris Paul for Delonte "Wild" West?

This has the Wiz taking a downgrade for no real purpose. The Bobs...bag a couple of old timers who are just a money pit in their situation....and for that they give 3 starters and can expect an empty arena until they sell, move,or fold.

What the F? Why waste the effort when your deal comes up a couple of high rd 1 picks short of viable?

"Big " deal.....has to mean big relative to what you've got in your pockets. Second stringers and old expirings can get you overpaid veterans...or other second stringers. If something for nothing comes EASY...every other team is grabbing the goodies with their expendable stuff.

Old Rem-

I think the whole basis of his idea was based off of what I had suggested in an earlier post. I dont think he actually believes that there is a chance in Hades of either deal happening.
