I dont think Lebron meant any disrespect, he was just having fun, it cant be easy playing 82 games a season without getting bored, specially at a blowout game...

Like someone said here... look at KG, Artest, Kobe, etc.. all of them talk a lot of trash, and taunt opponents, that ok but dancing is all that bad???

Please........

This was blown out of proportion by Noah.... hes one of those who likes to talk trash or scream anytime he blocks a shot or dunks in someones face.... hypocrite!!!

First of all Noah wasnt the first person to complain about Lebrons classless antics. If you recall Barkley addressed the whole picture taking and dancing last year in regular season. So no Noah wasnt the first person to address this issue.

Also your missing the point about these three players you mentioned.

Im not saying K.Gs actions is okay since I dont think getting on his knees and barking like a dog is or should be okay. Its not okay at all.

But him getting into players faces and taunting them is and will always be a part of the game. Unless you have actually played street ball or any type of a backetball game then you would understand that talking smack and taunting is the best way to get into other players head and game. It works like a charm all the time and that goes for any sport not just basketball.

Now you mentioned Kobe and Artest.......... How Ironic that you bring these two guys up....
But please let me know when have you ever seen Kobe or Artest dancing on the sidelines during a game or better yet during a blow out of a game, and when have you seen these two guys or any Laker players taking group pictures before the game starts the way your team does??? When?

In fact tell me something which team or which player in the entire NBA or in the history of the NBA have you ever seen doing or acting the way Lebron and the Cavs have been last year and this year?

Lebron can dance and take pictures all he wants, Im cool with it. In fact I like to see him do everything that he does. Its fun and its entertaining and I love it.

Stop and think about it for a second would you really be all right with other players doing the same thing? Not just at the NBA level but the college and high school level as well... Didn't think so.

Teams that keep their composure + emotions in check win championships. This has been especially true the last few decades when you look at teams like the Lakers, Spurs, Pistons, Bulls, etc.

I agree with you a 100%. He has a problem shaking peoples hands after he loses but loves to dance and gloat and rub it in his apponents face when his team is up and winning.

In all the years I have been a fan of this game I have never seen any player dancing or doing half of the things he does on the sidelines or anywhere during the game the way he does.

yeh you are right, nba players are some of the classiest guys I know. There is Artest drinking during games, calling out refs, Josh Howard telling people he smokes dope and so do others, KG taunting Jose Calderon during a game, Paul Pierce taunting the raptors...Stupid Lebron thinking he can dance on the sidelines, show some respect!

Away with you troll!

There are idiots in the NBA, point taken. But the best of the best ? Kobe has had personal life issues, as has Jordan, but on the hardwood the best of he best...(which is suppose to be Lebron..arguably #2) have dominated their opponents yet they did it with some class at best. No dancing around like a fool. That isnt what you learn in basketball no matter what level you play in. You can get away with it as a kid, but if you play with anyone who doesnt like being straight up disrespected that kind of idiocy will get you jumped.

So dancing to taunt or disrespect the other team is cool then? What was LeBron's mistake? That he was just celebrating and not intentionally trying to taunt the Bulls?

Just because it's not common, doesn't mean it's wrong. Imagine if Chad Johnson was in the NBA? Players like to put their own stamp on the game - create their own memorable images. All that pine tar that LeBron has been tossing in the air over the years - he stole the idea from MJ and KG, refined it, until it culminated in this incredible image:

Another lame thread attacking Lebron for his showmanship to distract from his basketball skills. No surprise to see some Laker homers chiming in to boost the superstar they are obsessed with on their team...to somehow delay the reality that he is on the edge of leaving his prime years. Lebron is an entertainer on and off the basketball floor which is how he makes his money trying to create a legacy that is unique from other superstars that have gone before him. So dancing on the court is worse than talking trash questioning someone's parentage --- NOT. The great players have always done something to piss off the other team and throw them off their game.

Would you shake hands with someone who has disrespected and taunted you---probably not and most of you would be just being politically correct by stating that you would kiss their butt with a hand shake to show approval of their disrespect.

You dont get taught as a kid to taunt opponents either and thats what NBA players have proven they do time and time again. Lebron and every other NBA player is an entertainer and if they want to have fun and Joakim Noah wants to whine and complain and then have it hurt him so much that the next game they get blasted by 35, then so be it. This really is a non issue imo but i can see why people wouldnt like it but at this point it just needs to go away...
