Supporting cast is pretty important which translates into those rings. Kobe without Gasol would rerun each season with the Lakers starting out fast and fading coming into the playoffs. KG without the proper supporting cast is like his experience with the Wolves. So don't be a clown with that lame ring logic. Before MJ had a good supporting cast---he never won a championship until he was 27 and had the proper support on his team. Lebron won the MVP last season which means he was the best player last season...he doesn't control his supporting cast for the most part.

Laker homers can parade all they want, but it doesn't change the fact the Lebron was the MVP last season and came in second for defensive player award behind Dwight Howard. The Celtics started out like gang busters last season and they didn't repeat for the title which should make it interesting what these Laker homer's will post when their obsession doesn't repeat either.

Lebron has more than enough supporting cast to make a run at the title, you fail to realize that YOUR Cavs did have the best record in the league last year as well as H.C.A didnt they? Yet they failed to get passed the Magic that the Lakers basically ran over.
So using the SUPPORTING CAST excuse doesnt apply to Lebron or the Cavs, you guys have had more than plenty of players to win a title since 2007 when you guys got swept by the Spurs and again in 08 and last year at the hands of the Magic.

Oh okay, SO Lebron won the MVP but Kobe won a title and the finals MVP, so your basically claiming that Lebrons led his team to the best record in the league last year and H.C.A yet he failed in the E/C finals. Yet on the other hand Kobe didnt win MVP but he led his team to the finals won a chip and the finals MVP. I think winning a title and finals MVP is a bigger accomplishment and an achievement than winning the regular season MVP dont you think so?? I bet you if you ask Lebron that, he would say I would rather win a title and the finals MVP over anything.

Right okay, so the Cs failed to repeat since everyone knows K.G was injured and he is the heart and soul of the Cs. Also if we dont repeat it is what it is. We have 15 titles to look back on and if we fail like we did in 08 against the better team like the Cs then guess what all we do is regroup and comeback even stronger. Lakers history proves that over and over again. I mean we do have a title or two or three in every decade in the histroy of the NBA so if we dont repeat then no biggie we just come back next year. Were cool with having three titles in one decade, some teams dont even have one since they were established and entered the league.

But for now and the time being we are the defending champs and we have 6 or 7 more months to enjoy our championship and being called the CHAMPS before we have to defend our title again, so we are straight for now.

LeBron is stil the best player in the NBA. The Lakers are the better team. If I had a choice, I'd rather have the better team but that doesn't make Kobe better thank LeBron.

Lebron is better than Kobe at this point, but I think it's easier to win with a guy like Kobe or Wade.
