It wont happen unless something else big is included.
What are the chances they move Iguodala along with Brand at the deadline for cap relief, picks and a couple nice young players?
It would be unexpected, but right Philly are the 2nd worst team in the NBA and I'm not sure on their financial situation exactly, but they just signed AI for one reason; to sell tickets, so it cant be great at all.
Iggy is obviously a second option, not a first. He has said himself that he would love to play with LeBron or Kobe and be their sidekick as he he doesnt see himself as a first option.
If Philly realize they wont get anywhere with him as the first option, and their record is still atrocious in February, is it still crazy to think they wouldnt trade him and Brand and go for the lottery this year?
Maybe it is a little crazy, but remember Iguodala will turn 26 in a month, hes not really going to improve much more, and hes never averaged even 20ppg in a season.
He'd be the perfect second option for the Cavs. Great character, would know his role, elite perimeter defender, great slasher, great finisher, fantastic passer and at least an average shooter.
This is what I'm hoping for with the Cavs in February. Something like Z, Hickson, Moon, Boobie and picks for Iggy and Brand.
