LeBron was inbounding the ball, because we didn't trust anyone else to make a safe pass or manage the timeouts

I wonder more why we had him floating on Utah's game winner, rather than guarding the inbounder or someone out on the floor. I guess we want him to use him to deny the lob pass, but it also lets Utah avoid him and reduce his impact to zilch.

Only JJ and Jawad showed up to this game, but fortunately LeBron showed up in the 4th.

LeBron doesn't float when his man has the ball. Why not cover the inbounder? LeBron could potentially snatch the inbound pass out of the air.
