The Ron Artest incident doesn't mean anything to me in comparison because he should have been permanently banned from the NBA.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

First off its Crittendon, and second off the first report was that Gil had drawn on Critt, then the second (third, fourth?) version was that it was a joke, then, (fifth, sixth?) was that Critt drew on Gil, then there was gambling involved, then there wasnt. Do we really know for sure what happened? Was there a debt of $150,000 of $10,000 or none at all?
The media always pounces when rich athletes screw up, but you comparing this situation to others screw ups is apples to oranges. It was one person here that said that Gil drew on Critt, so dont include all of us with that statement.

Arenas didn't "pull the gun" on a teammate though...

none of that was acceptable but the main point is that Arenas had unlicensed weapons in his place of employment. A place where it's illegal to have even registered weapons.

Delonte was worse, but he didn't try and make light of the situation like Arenas did.

I'm not sure it was worse as far as the law goes and as far as how he's treated it personally Delonte has been way way better than Arenas.

Well, it was worse if Delonte was on his way to use those weapons. But there is no way we will ever know what his intent actually was. And the fact that the laws are much different in the municipalities involved may not be fair, but it will factor into the leagues punishment. Any judge will gladly tell you that ignorance of the laws is no excuse.

Heck, Crittendon's incident was worse, but unless the detectives can find his guns, some video, or some witnesses to testify that he actually did pull out his own loaded gun in the locker room and waved it around - he's not going to be charged with anything.

even if they find the gun that doesn't put a gun in his hand, It is only Arenas testimony that would do that.

I read a report that there was a video tape from a security camera that caught everything. I wonder what happened to that?
