I didn't get a chance to watch this one unfortunately... But I saw a loss in the boxscore and the first thing I looked too was turnovers and the 2nd thing was FT's...

Doubled the turnovers and missed 17fts...

All of our losses are like under 5 points and they're usually the result of missing an abundance of freebies...

I was shocked that Shaq shot 9/15 considering he missed 3 bunnies and a dunk. But like LeBron it was his free throw shooting that ended up hurting.

LeBron didn't have an assist in the last 12 minutes, and shot the ball like 12-13 times...

Moon sitting pissed me off. I like Jawad but no way he should be ahead of Moon in the rotation.

Parker played way too much also.

But whatever, DEN made alot of clutch buckets and barely turned the ball over. They out-hustled us all night and deserved the win.

This really was not a good game for LeBron. Even the best of 3 pt shooters shouldn't take 9 in a game. Yet LeBron shot 1 of 9 for the game.

Parker actually played well although I agree that Moon should have gotten some run today. I guess the idea is that Jawad is a bigger guy and can therefore guard Carmelo but he wasn't nearly quick enough to guard Melo.

This is what I'm so worried about for the playoffs... LeBron is phenomenal, but just cause he's past up last second shots before he gets glossed as someone who trusts his teammates too much...

Um no.. LeBron does not and he reverts back to plays where he dominates the ball and everyone watches... The only other look coming is either a post up or a LeBron created drive and kick...

To be fair, the Nuggs were doubling LeBron so he'd pass to someone who fed the post most of those times. The real problem is that there was little cutting and the plays took too long to develop.

ugly game all around for the cavs. lebron's ego cost us that one...well that and the 57% free throw shooting didn't help either

but, damn, melo is an assassin

I don't think you can say ego, here's the big difference between a guy like Iggy and LeBron: LeBron makes shots.

If LeBron took bad shots, I understand. But 43/15/13/4/2. Where are you guys without LeBron tonite? He basically was the defense, the offense and the point guard.

You should take this as him being excited, he got a guy in Jamison that can make things easier.

Mo Williams/Delonte West/LeBron James/Antawn Jamison/Shaq

BEASTLY. I'm scared, especially if LBJ brings it like he did tonight.

We did not deserve to win:

lbj looked rusty

We missed a ton of FT's

Denver out hustled us

Why in God's name didn't we go for the tie. With Nana fouled out did anyone else see Kmart on AV covered AV at the end of the OT? Why not have Shaq in and go for the tie. With both Shaq and LBJ on the floor, whoever isn't doubl teamed gets the ball. ?????? Ya I know Shaq and free throws but one on one he's not going to be stopped in crunch time. Mr. Potatoehead answer please?

Cleveland played an excellent game, except for making just 23 of 40 free-throws. Everything else was fine. Cleveland outshot Denver 50%-46%. Denver won turnovers 5-10, and rebounds 48-44. It was an even game that Cleveland would have won comfortably if they hit free-throws. Overall Cleveland should be happy with that form in all areas aside from the FTs. Even Parker was fouled taking a trey and missed 2 of 3, and it wasn't in crunchtime!

Actually there were a number of things that the Cavs were subpar in including rebounding and hustle defense as well as free throw shooting. Not to mention the fact that they missed a bunch of layups/dunks and bunnies

Rebounding was close, only 4 less than Denver. And that bunch of offensive rebounds allowed multiple trey attempts from LeBron and his 3-point-play. Shaq missed 3 bunnies early but made 8 straight shots. If we made about 7 more free-throws we win comfortable.

This is my concern as well. In tight games, we revert to Le-Iso.

Mike Brown didn't help last night putting Parker and Gibson out there, all they are gonna do is stand and watch Lebron. At least Delonte or Mo would create off the dribble..I'd rather even see Jawad out there late in games than Parker.

Even though we lost that was an incredible game to watch. Watching the top two superstars go at it matching each other shot for shot at the end of the game was incredible.

But we've been doing that for 13 straight games and its worked. Relying on LeBron has worked better than relying on Mo ever worked. We were some missed free-throws away from 14 straight wins. Can't get much more vindicated that a system is working than that. Thats why I like Gibson on the court more than Mo, because Mo tries to do too much and when his shot is off it loses the game because he doesn't stop shooting. That rarely happens to LeBron, and it didn't really happen v Denver if we put the problem down to guys like Parker missing 2 of 3 free-throws. Anyway, only one loss and it happened to occur with Mo back from injury, probably some degree of chemistry change from that; but really its just fundamental errors that cost us the game, against a team who matches up with us better than anyone in the NBA.
