C: Shaq /Z/Andy
PF: Jamison/Andy/Hickson

Powe can fit in when he comes back and this is a great problem to have. Jamison gives an outside presence and can play with Shaq and Andy whereas Z gives a great pick and pop presence from the outside and can play well with Andy, Hickson or Powe. I think the fact that Jamison can stretch the floor and Z can stretch the floor ups our lineups even more.

I've been saying for 2 years that the Cavs needed another big so I'm thrilled to death. That being said Shaq won't get more than about 20 mins a game until the playoffs and jamison's minutes will likely be down as well. Andy is probably going to take the biggest hit in minutes likely coming down to about 20 as well. That will leave 36 mins to share between Z (if he's back) Hickson (who is likely to almost drop off) and Powe (who I expect will get alot of Hickson's minutes depending on his play).

Jamison can also slide down to SF for small periods of time.

!00 min.a game for this group. ( when all healthy & back on team ) Play-offs & regular season are totally different. 100 min. mean some time at SF when we go BIG. But when you are 3 deep at each position. WOW. Lets just talk play-offs, when a player gets into foul trouble you can leave him in if you want too.( like MB did against Orlando with Shaq ). In the long term I think Shaq & Jameson start, with game situation determin which go in next but all get their min.

PLAY-OFFS Shaq - 20 - 28 min
Jameson - 20 - 28 min
Andy - 20 - 28 min
J.J. -15 - 20 min
Z -10 - 15 min
Powe - 10 - 15 min

Cleveland now presents so many match-up problems with this move. Jamison is athletic enough to play the 3 or the 4. You can even slide Lebron James to the 2 spot because he is such a freak athlete. One move has alleviated my two concerns with this team: Size at SG and an athletic 4. Offensively and defensively, this is the best possible scenario.

I think we'll see a lot of that in the playoffs. Just think--Lebron is bigger than Ben Wallace and he'll be playing the 2. Jamison played the 3 quite a bit in the memorable Cavs-Wiz playoffs series and freaking killed us.

Depth on the front-line is good - we can keep our older vets like Shaq and Jamison rested for a stretch run. Also gives us alot better options to match-up with other teams.

During the regular season we're going to have the luxery of giving guys days off now - especially Shaq.

If Z comes back he'll be our 5th big - how awesome is that! It also means he won't get consitent minutes anymore.
Jamison can play the 3 in spots.
Powe won't play.

One other note, I think Shaq & Hickson will still start, but it will be Andy and Jamison on the floor at crunch time.

that will be intresting actually, when its down to the wire who will mike play. guess it depends on what type of game it is, if points are easy to come by you put andy in because of his defense and he always seems to come up with clutch hustle plays.. then on teh flip if we need the scoring put jamison in

Don't you guys think we should maybe, JUST MAYBE, trade one of our Guards, lets say Boobie Gibson Wally's contract and JJ Hickson for a better SG? For a guy like Hamilton for instance.
That would make us unbeatable.

That would be a terrible trade. If we could have looked at Kevin Martin for that package, then I might have been interested.

Can you think of another SG that we could get with that that trade package?

Why trade for another shooting guard when Anthony Parker, Delonte West, Mo Williams, Jamario Moon, and Lebron James could all play SG depending on the match-up. In the play-offs you can never have enough big men.

I am curious to see what moves Cleveland will make in the offseason. I like the thought of holding onto Telfair to be a change of pace PG. That being said, I think Gibson has to go. Where is Gibson realistically going to get minutes? If Powe proves that he can come back healthy and be our energy PF, does that make Varejao expendable? I know what Varejao does for Cleveland, and that his value is the highest to Cleveland. Jawad and Moon are similar players, does Moon get shipped off as an expiring?
