According to sources close to Phil Jackson, LeBron James has expressed interest in joining the Los Angeles Lakers.

"LeBron wants to win. He's a smart guy, and Phil loves LeBron, absolutely LOVES him," according to the report. Obviously, there is way too much involved with a situation like this for one blurb, but if the report holds water then look for this to become a big storyline in the upcoming days.

LeBron is not going to the Lakers. No chance. None. Zero. If he wanted to go to the best team possible, he'd go to Orlando as they provide a much much brighter future than LA. But that's not going to happen either.

Kobe couldn't handle being 2nd fiddle to the most dominant center in our era. Do you think he will be okay playing 2nd fiddle to a dominant wing player???? And history has seen that what Kobe wants, Kobe gets. So I doubt he'll be okay with Lebron stealing his "the man" status.
