Throw out that first disaster performance and Jamison is averaging a cool little 17/7 on 55% shooting.

I'd take that from a Cavaliers starting PF any day of the week. It's been what, 3 years since a Cavs starting PF put up a 20/10 game?

Jamison will be fine.

I agree, getting Jamison was a great move. This team will get better & better as the year goes. When,if Shaq & Z get back we will be 3 deep at every position.

Cav 's wiil come close to last years win total. Cav 's will use the last 20 games to get it together & peak at the start of play-offs.

This is going to be a great ride, get on & enjoy the ride.

And no I'm not trolling here. I really don't like the Cavs. I think it may be inevitable that the Cavs will win a championship in the future. I just don't want to see Jamison's potential wasted like Larry Hughe's potenial was when he was on the Cavs squad. Of course now Jamison is dealing more with a mature Lebron James, whereas, Hughes was dealing with a younger version of him that wasn't more developed.
To do list
==========
1. Fire Ernie Grunfield
2. Get a GM who doesn't screw the fans all the time
3. Beat the Cavaliers in the playoffs
4. Get the no.1 draft pick
5. Get John Wall

Hughes problems here really had nothing to do with Lebron.

After Hughes injured his hand, he sucked on his own and has continued to suck ever since. Hughes did play good D though, for all his issues he locked down the perimeter. So it was mostly his offensive efficiency that sucked.

Jamison is like the exact opposite of that.

Wizard fan here,

Also, a Jamison fan. Always played hard and was very professional while playing for Washington.

As this season went down the tubes for us I was hoping that the Wizards would reward Jamison for his years of hard work and professionalism and send him to a team that had a chance to play for a title. I felt that his talents would best fit the Cavs and was not unhappy when the trade went down.

Jamison's defense is not one of his strong points. His strong points is his ability to score and be effective without the ball and his rebounding.

It will be interesting watching the playoffs this year, I am hoping for a Cleveland vs Dallas matchup.

Good luck to you all,

Slowhand

Jamison in his last 5 games is averaging 17ppg / 8rpg on 55% shooting in 35 mins.

He's doing well so far.

His 3point % and FT% is worrisome. He's never actually been a great 3pt shooter but he gotta do a better job with all the open looks he's getting. Even Z was hitting the treys better.

I don't even know why he's taking those 3's. He could easily step in or drive to the basket. Sure he's wide open and if he can make it then good. But it's not his only option when he gets the ball at the 3 pt line.

Wiz fan here and Ive watched every single game and he's been what I thought he would so far and that is very good. Im not a big AJ fan. I thought he had turned into an overhyped black hole. Our local media talked non stop about his leadership & how much of a pro he was yet he always talked negatively about our young guys, never ever passed the ball anymore, and took bad shot after bad shot. Thats why we are alot better now and Blatche is a much better player for us. With that being said, AJ is still a legit All Star and I thought he would be the perfect fit for you guys to play in between Shaq & Lebron. I thought he would open up the floor so much, I thought he would be a punk and probably pass more for you guys, and I thought he would be a very efficient player who would be a better fit for you than Amare.

The 1st game was a fluke and thats all alot of people remember. He got blocked 5 times and shot 2 air balls. You can tell thats just nerves. Since then I think he's been pretty spot on and will continue to fit in very well. I think he will put up similar numbers to what he did for us "if given the minutes". I think he will get & take alot better shots and I think he's the pefect guy to take pressure off of Lebron. I dont see anyway that you guys shouldnt win the East now unless Shaq doesnt come back and Howard kills you again but even then you still may win.

PS- Everyone thinks youve heard the last of us but dont be shocked if we have another playoff matchup again next year. I think we couldve made the playoffs this year with Jordan but Flip's system never fit with these players. Thats why we are playing much better with the group we have now and I think we may have had an outside shot at the playoffs this year if Howard didnt go down. He was the perfect fit for the system, the perfect compliment to Miller & Thorton, and he was the other big scorer we needed. Now we are 1 guy short which is why we will still lose alot of close games but if Gil comes back next year with this group and maybe one more player then I think we can win again because this team doesnt take hardly any bad shots and passes way better. We also have much more atheletes & physical players now
